| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:11] | Wa-itha qeela lahum latufsidoo fee al-ardi qaloo innama nahnumuslihoona
|  وإذا قيل لهم لا تفسدوا في الأرض قالوا إنما نحن مصلحون
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| لا - "(Do) not| تفسدوا - spread corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth,"| قالوا - they say,| إنما - "Only| نحن - we| مصلحون - (are) reformers."| |

| ለነርሱም «በምድር ላይ አታበላሹ» በተባሉ ጊዜ «እኛ አሳማሪዎች ብቻ ነን» ይላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا قيل لهم } أي لهؤلاء { لا تفسدوا في الأرض } بالكفر والتعويق عن الإيمان. { قالوا إنما نحن مصلحون } وليس ما نحن فيه بفساد . قال الله تعالى رداً عليهم. |
| Ma nnan asen: "ur ssefsadet di tmurt"! A d inin: "nekwni d wid, kan, ipleqqimen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয় যে, দুনিয়ার বুকে দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করো না, তখন তারা বলে, আমরা তো মীমাংসার পথ অবলম্বন করেছি। |
| Literal | And if (it was) said to them: "Do not corrupt in the earth/Planet Earth." They said: "But we are correcting/repairing ." |
