| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:56] | Wama nursilu almursaleena illamubashshireena wamunthireena wayujadilu allatheenakafaroo bialbatili liyudhidoo bihi alhaqqawaittakhathoo ayatee wama onthiroohuzuwan
|  وما نرسل المرسلين إلا مبشرين ومنذرين ويجادل الذين كفروا بالباطل ليدحضوا به الحق واتخذوا آياتي وما أنذروا هزوا
وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنذِرُوا هُزُوًا |
| Words | |وما - And not| نرسل - We send| المرسلين - the Messengers| إلا - except| مبشرين - (as) bearers of glad tidings| ومنذرين - and (as) warners.| ويجادل - And dispute| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| بالباطل - with falsehood,| ليدحضوا - to refute| به - thereby| الحق - the truth.| واتخذوا - And they take| آياتي - My Verses| وما - and what| أنذروا - they are warned| هزوا - (in) ridicule.| |

| መልክተኞችንም አብሳሪዎችና አስፈራሪዎች ኾነው እንጂ አንልክም፡፡ እነዚያ የካዱትም በውሸት እውነቱን በእሱ ሊያበላሹ ይከራከራሉ፡፡ አንቀጾቼንና በእርሱ የተስፈራሩበትንም ነገር ማላገጫ አድርገው ያዙ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ( وما نرسل المرسلين إلا مبشرين ) للمؤمنين ( ومنذرين ) مخوفين للكافرين ( ويجادل الذين كفروا بالباطل ) بقولهم : "" أبعث الله بشرا رسولاً "" ونحوه ( ليدحضوا به ) ليبطلوا بجدالهم ( الحق ) القرآن ( واتخذوا آياتي ) أي القرآن ( وما أنذروا ) به من النار ( هزوا ) سخرية . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি রাসূলগনকে সুসংবাদ দাতা ও ভয় প্রদর্শন কারীরূপেই প্রেরণ করি এবং কাফেররাই মিথ্যা অবলম্বনে বিতর্ক করে, তা দ্বারা সত্যকে ব্যর্থ করে দেয়ার উদ্দেশে এবং তারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীও যদ্বারা তাদেরকে ভয় প্রদর্শন করা হয়, সেগুলোকে ঠাট্টারূপে গ্রহণ করেছে। |
| Literal | And We do not send the messengers except (as) announcers of good news and warners/givers of notice, and those who disbelieved argue/dispute with/by the falsehood to nullify with it the truth , and they took My verses/evidences and what they were warned/given notice (with it) mockingly/making fun. |
| Yusuf Ali | We only send the messengers to give Glad Tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned! |
