| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:54] | Walaqad sarrafna fee hathaalqur-ani lilnnasi min kulli mathalin wakanaal-insanu akthara shay-in jadalan
|  ولقد صرفنا في هذا القرآن للناس من كل مثل وكان الإنسان أكثر شيء جدلا
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَيْءٍ جَدَلاً |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| صرفنا - We have explained| في - in| هذا - this| القرآن - the Quran| للناس - for mankind| من - of| كل - every| مثل - example.| وكان - But is| الإنسان - the man| أكثر - (in) most| شيء - things| جدلا - quarrelsome.| |

| በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ከየምሳሌው ሁሉ ለሰዎች መላልሰን ገለጽን፡፡ ሰውም ከነገሩ ሁሉ ይበልጥ ክርክረ ብዙ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد صرفنا } بينا { في هذا القرآن للناس من كل مثل } صفة لمحذوف، أي مثلاً من جنس كل مثل ليتعظوا { وكان الإنسان } أي الكفار { أكثر شيء جدلاً } خصومة في الباطل وهو تمييز منقول من اسم كان، المعنى: وكان جدل الإنسان أكثر شيء فيه . |
| Ni$ Nefka d, di Leqwôan agi, yal amedya, i imdanen. Maca, ipnamar umdan sennig akw. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিশ্চয় আমি এ কোরআনে মানুষকে নানাভাবে বিভিন্ন উপমার দ্বারা আমার বাণী বুঝিয়েছি। মানুষ সব বস্তু থেকে অধিক তর্কপ্রিয়। |
| Literal | And We had laid out/detailed linguistically in this the Koran to the people from every example/proverb, and the human/mankind was (the) most arguing/disputing thing. |
| Yusuf Ali | We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious. |
| Pickthal | And verily We have displayed for mankind in this Qur'an all manner of similitudes, but man is more than anything contentious. |
