| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:48] | WaAAuridoo AAala rabbika saffanlaqad ji/tumoona kama khalaqnakum awwalamarratin bal zaAAamtum allan najAAala lakum mawAAidan
|  وعرضوا على ربك صفا لقد جئتمونا كما خلقناكم أول مرة بل زعمتم ألن نجعل لكم موعدا
وَعُرِضُوا عَلَى رَبِّكَ صَفًّا لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًا |
| Words | |وعرضوا - And they will be presented| على - before| ربك - your Lord| صفا - (in) rows,| لقد - "Certainly,| جئتمونا - you have come to Us| كما - as| خلقناكم - We created you| أول - the first| مرة - time.| بل - Nay,| زعمتم - you claimed| ألن - that not| نجعل - We made| لكم - for you| موعدا - an appointment."| |

| የተሰለፉም ኾነው በጌታህ ላይ ይቀረባሉ፡፡ (ይባላሉም) «በመጀመሪያ ጊዜ እንደ ፈጠርናችሁ (ራቁታችሁን) በእርግጥ መጣችሁን በእውነቱ ለእናንተ (ለመቀስቀሻ) ጊዜን አናደርግም መስሏችሁ ነበር፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { وعرضوا على ربك صفا } حال أي مصطفين كل أمة صف ويقال لهم { لقد جئتمونا كما خلقناكم أول مرة } أي فرادى حفاة عراة غُرْلاً ويقال لمنكري البعث { بل زعمتم أ } ن مخففة من الثقيلة أي أنه { لن نجعل لكم موعدا } للبعث . |
| A d rsen zdat Mass ik, d leûfuf: "ni$ tusam a£ d, akken ikwen Nexleq tikelt tamenzut. Irna tetebbtem ar ur awen Neppara ppaâud, d awez$i". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা আপনার পালনকর্তার সামনে পেশ হবে সারিবদ্ধ ভাবে এবং বলা হবেঃ তোমরা আমার কাছে এসে গেছ; যেমন তোমাদেরকে প্রথম বার সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম। না, তোমরা তো বলতে যে, আমি তোমাদের জন্যে কোন প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নির্দিষ্ট করব না। |
| Literal | And they were displayed/exhibited on (to) your Lord (in) a row/line/arranged (and told): "You had come to Us as We created you (on the) first/beginning time , but you claimed/alleged that We not make for you an appointment." |
| Yusuf Ali | And they will be marshalled before thy Lord in ranks, (with the announcement), "Now have ye come to Us (bare) as We created you first: aye, ye thought We shall not fulfil the appointment made to you to meet (Us)!": |
| Pickthal | And they are set before thy Lord in ranks (and it is said unto them): Now verily have ye come unto Us as We created you at the first. But ye thought that We had set no tryst for you. |

You believed that our promise could never come true." |

| Malik | They all will be brought before your Lord standing in rows and Allah will say: "Well! You see that you have returned to Us as We created you at first: even though you claimed that We had not fixed any time for the fulfillment of this promise of meeting with Us!"[48] |
