1 [17:100] | Qul law antum tamlikoona khaza-inarahmati rabbee ithan laamsaktum khashyata al-infaqiwakana al-insanu qatooran
| قل لو أنتم تملكون خزائن رحمة ربي إذا لأمسكتم خشية الإنفاق وكان الإنسان قتورا قُل لَّوْ أَنتُمْ تَمْلِكُونَ خَزَآئِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّي إِذًا لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْإِنفَاقِ وَكَانَ الإنسَانُ قَتُورًا |
Words | |قل - Say,| لو - "If| أنتم - you| تملكون - possess| خزائن - the treasures| رحمة - (of) the Mercy| ربي - (of) my Lord,| إذا - then| لأمسكتم - surely you would withhold| خشية - (out of) fear| الإنفاق - (of) spending."| وكان - And is| الإنسان - man| قتورا - stingy.| |

| «እናንተ የጌታዬን የችሮታ መካዚኖች ብትይዙ ኖሮ ያን ጊዜ በማውጣታችሁ ማለቋን በመፍራት በጨበጣችሁ ነበር፡፡ ሰውም በጣም ቆጣቢ ነው፡፡» |
آل الجلالين | { قل } لهم { لو أنتم تملكون خزائن رحمة ربي } من الرزق والمطر { إذا لأمسكتم } لبخلتم { خشية الإنفاق } خوف نفادها بالإنفاق فتقتروا { وكان الإنسان قتورا } بخيلاً . |
| Ini: "lemmer tesâim igerrujen uêunu n Mass iw, ur ten tepnalem, a ppagwadem a ten tûeôôfem. Amdan izga d imceêêi". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বলুনঃ যদি আমার পালনকর্তার রহমতের ভান্ডার তোমাদের হাতে থাকত, তবে ব্যয়িত হয়ে যাওয়ার আশঙ্কায় অবশ্যই তা ধরে রাখতে। মানুষ তো অতিশয় কৃপণ। |
Literal | Say: "If you own/possess my Lord's safes/storages (of) mercy, then you would have held/seized (E) fear (of) the spending/expenditure (poverty), and the human was/is miserly/stingy." |
Yusuf Ali | Say: "If ye had control of the Treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them: for man is (every) niggardly!" |
