| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:37] | In tahris AAala hudahumfa-inna Allaha la yahdee man yudillu wamalahum min nasireena
|  إن تحرص على هداهم فإن الله لا يهدي من يضل وما لهم من ناصرين
إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَى هُدَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي مَن يُضِلُّ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ |
| Words | |إن - If| تحرص - you desire| على - [for]| هداهم - their guidance,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (will) not| يهدي - guide| من - whom| يضل - He lets go astray,| وما - and not (are)| لهم - for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| |

| በመቅናታቸው ላይ ብትጓጓ (ምንም ልታደርግ አትችልም)፡፡ አላህ የሚጠመውን ሰው አያቀናውምና፡፡ ለእነሱም ከረዳቶች ምንም የላቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن تحرص } يا محمد { على هداهم } وقد أضلهم الله لا تقدر على ذلك { فإن الله لا يُهدِي } بالبناء للمفعول وللفاعل { من يضل } من يريد إضلاله { وما لهم من ناصرين } مانعين من عذاب الله . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনি তাদেরকে সুপথে আনতে আগ্রহী হলেও আল্লাহ যাকে বিপথগামী করেন তিনি তাকে পথ দেখান না এবং তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী ও নেই। |
| Literal | If you held onto stingily and desire strongly (are careful) on their guidance, so that God does not guide who misguides, and none from victoriors/saviors (are) for them. |
| Yusuf Ali | If thou art anxious for their guidance, yet Allah guideth not such as He leaves to stray, and there is none to help them. |
