| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:72] | Qaloo nafqidu suwaAAaalmaliki waliman jaa bihi himlu baAAeerin waanabihi zaAAeemun
|  قالوا نفقد صواع الملك ولمن جاء به حمل بعير وأنا به زعيم
قَالُواْ نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ وَلِمَن جَاءَ بِهِ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَاْ بِهِ زَعِيمٌ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| نفقد - "We are missing| صواع - (the) cup| الملك - (of) the king.| ولمن - And for (one) who| جاء - brings| به - it,| حمل - (is) a load| بعير - (of) a camel,| وأنا - and I| به - for it| زعيم - (is) responsible."| |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ আমরা বাদশাহর পানপাত্র হারিয়েছি এবং যে কেউ এটা এনে দেবে সে এক উটের বোঝা পরিমাণ মাল পাবে এবং আমি এর যামিন। |
| Literal | They said: "We miss/fail to find the king's cup , and to who (E) came with it a (transport) camel's load , and I am with it a leader/grantor." |
