| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:56] | Wakathalika makanna liyoosufafee al-ardi yatabawwao minha haythu yashaonuseebu birahmatina man nashao walanudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena
|  وكذلك مكنا ليوسف في الأرض يتبوأ منها حيث يشاء نصيب برحمتنا من نشاء ولا نضيع أجر المحسنين
وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَتَبَوَّأُ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ يَشَاءُ نُصِيبُ بِرَحْمَتِنَا مَن نَّشَاءُ وَلاَ نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| مكنا - We established| ليوسف - [to] Yusuf| في - in| الأرض - the land| يتبوأ - to settle| منها - therein| حيث - where ever| يشاء - he willed.| نصيب - We bestow| برحمتنا - Our Mercy| من - (on) whom| نشاء - We will.| ولا - And not| نضيع - We let go waste| أجر - (the) reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers.| |

| እንደዚሁም ለዩሱፍ በምድር ላይ ከእርሷ በፈለገው ስፍራ የሚሰፍር ሲሆን አስመቸነው፡፡ በችሮታችን የምንሻውን ሰው እንለያለን፡፡ የበጎ ሠሪዎችንም ዋጋ አናጠፋም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكذلك } كإنعامنا عليه بالخلاص من السجن { مكنَّا ليوسف في الأرض } أرض مصر { يتبوّأُ } ينزل { منها حيث يشاء } بعد الضيق والحبس وفي القصة أن الملك توَّجه وختَّمه وولاه مكان العزيز وعزله ومات بعد، فزوجه امرأته فوجدها عذراء وولدت له ولدين، وأقام العدل بمصر ودانت له الرقاب { نصيب برحمتنا من نشاء ولا نضيع أجر المحسنين } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এমনিভাবে আমি ইউসুফকে সে দেশের বুকে প্রতিষ্ঠা দান করেছি। সে তথায় যেখানে ইচ্ছা স্থান করে নিতে পারত। আমি স্বীয় রহমত যাকে ইচ্ছা পৌছে দেই এবং আমি পূণ্যবানদের প্রতিদান বিনষ্ট করি না। |
| Literal | And as/like that We highly positioned to Joseph in the land/Earth he establishes/resides from it159when/where he wills/wants, We strike/mark with Our mercy whom We will/want, and We do not loose/waste/destroy the good doers reward . |
| Yusuf Ali | Thus did We give established power to Joseph in the land, to take possession therein as, when, or where he pleased. We bestow of our Mercy on whom We please, and We suffer not, to be lost, the reward of those who do good. |
