| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:37] | Qala la ya/teekuma taAAamunturzaqanihi illa nabba/tukuma bita/weelihiqabla an ya/tiyakuma thalikuma mimmaAAallamanee rabbee innee taraktu millata qawmin layu/minoona biAllahi wahum bial-akhiratihum kafiroona
|  قال لا يأتيكما طعام ترزقانه إلا نبأتكما بتأويله قبل أن يأتيكما ذلكما مما علمني ربي إني تركت ملة قوم لا يؤمنون بالله وهم بالآخرة هم كافرون
قَالَ لاَ يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِ إِلاَّ نَبَّأْتُكُمَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمَا ذَلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّي إِنِّي تَرَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| لا - "Not| يأتيكما - (will) come to both of you| طعام - food| ترزقانه - you are provided with| إلا - but| نبأتكما - I will inform both of you| بتأويله - of its interpretation,| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يأتيكما - [it] comes to both of you.| ذلكما - That| مما - (is) of what| علمني - has taught me| ربي - my Lord.| إني - Indeed, I| تركت - [I] abandon| ملة - (the) religion| قوم - (of) a people,| لا - not| يؤمنون - they believe| بالله - in Allah,| وهم - and they| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter| هم - [they]| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| |

| (ዩሱፍም) አለ፡- «ማንኛውም የምትስሰጡት ምግብ ለናንተ ከመምጣቱ በፊት ፍቹን የምነግራችሁ ቢሆን እንጂ አይመጣላችሁም፡፡ ይኸ ጌታዬ ካሳወቀኝ ነገር ነው፤ እኔ በአላህ የማያምኑን እነርሱም መጨረሻይቱን ዓለም እነርሱ ከሓዲዎች የሆኑትን ሕዝቦች ሃይማኖት ትቻለሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال } لهما مخبرا أنه عالم بتعبير الرؤيا { لا يأتيكما طعام ترزقانه } في منامكما { إلا نبأتكما بتأويله } في اليقظة { قبل أن يأتيكما } تأويله { ذلكما مما علمني ربي } فيه حث على إيمانهما ثم قوّاه بقوله { إني تركت ملة } دين { قوم لا يؤمنون بالله وهم بالآخرة هم } تأكيد { كافرون } . |
| Inna: "seg wayen iyi ss$eô Mass iw, ad awen p id ssefru$, uqbel a kwen id iawev lqut i wen ppakken. Nek ooi$ ddin n ugdud ur numin s Öebbi, u nitni nekôen laxeôt. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনি বললেনঃ তোমাদেরকে প্রত্যহ যে খাদ্য দেয়া হয়, তা তোমাদের কাছে আসার আগেই আমি তার ব্যাখ্যা বলে দেব। এ জ্ঞান আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। আমি ঐসব লোকের ধর্ম পরিত্যাগ করেছি যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না এবং পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী। |
| Literal | He said: "Feeding/food does not come to you (B) (which) you will be provided with it except I informed you with its interpretation/explanation, before (it) comes to you, that is what from what my Lord taught/instructed me , that I left a nation's religion/faith (that) do not believe with/by God, and they are, with the end (other life), they are disbelieving." |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the Hereafter. |
| Pickthal | He said: The food which ye are given (daily) shall not come unto you but I shall tell you the interpretation ere it cometh unto you. This is of that which my Lord hath taught me. Lo! I have forsaken the religion of folk who believe not in Allah and are disbelievers in the Hereafter. |
| Arberry | He said, 'No food shall come to you for your sustenance, but ere it comes to you I shall tell you its interpretation. That I shall tell you is of what God has taught me. I have forsaken the creed of a people who believe not in God and who moreover are unbelievers in the world to come. |

| Abul Ala Maududi | یوسفؑ نے کہا: "یہاں جو کھانا تمہیں ملا کرتا ہے اس کے آنے سے پہلے میں تمہیں اِن خوابوں کی تعبیر بتا دوں گا یہ علم اُن علوم میں سے ہے جو میرے رب نے مجھے عطا کیے ہیں واقعہ یہ ہے کہ میں نے اُن لوگوں کا طریقہ چھوڑ کر جو اللہ پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور آخرت کا انکار کرتے ہیں |
