بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [12:26] | Qala hiya rawadatnee AAannafsee washahida shahidun min ahliha in kanaqameesuhu qudda min qubulin fasadaqat wahuwa minaalkathibeena
| قال هي راودتني عن نفسي وشهد شاهد من أهلها إن كان قميصه قد من قبل فصدقت وهو من الكاذبين قَالَ هِيَ رَاوَدَتْنِي عَن نَّفْسِي وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ الكَاذِبِينَ |
Words | |قال - He said,| هي - "She| راودتني - sought to seduce me| عن - about| نفسي - myself."| وشهد - And testified| شاهد - a witness| من - of| أهلها - her family| إن - "If| كان - [is]| قميصه - his shirt| قد - (is) torn| من - from| قبل - the front| فصدقت - then she has spoken the truth,| وهو - and he| من - (is) of| الكاذبين - the liars.| |

| (ዩሱፍም) «እርሷ ከነፍሴ አባበለችኝ» አለ፡፡ ከቤተሰቦቿም መስካሪ (እንዲህ ሲል) መሰከረ፡፡ «ቀሚሱ ከበስተፊት ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ እውነት ተናገረች፡፡ እርሱም ከውሸታሞቹ ነው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { قال } يوسف متبرئا { هي راودتني عن نفسي وشهد شاهد من أهلها } ابن عمها، روي أنه كان في المهد فقال { إن كان قميصه قُدَّ من قُبل } قدام { فصدقت وهو من الكاذبين } |
| Inna: "d neppat iyi ib$an". Icuhhed ed yiwen unagi si twacult is: "ma teqqeôs tsedrit si zdat, tenna d tidep, u neppa d akeddab. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | ইউসুফ (আঃ) বললেন, সেই আমাকে আত্মসংবরণ না করতে ফুসলিয়েছে। মহিলার পরিবারে জনৈক সাক্ষী দিল যে, যদি তার জামা সামনের দিক থেকে ছিন্ন থাকে, তবে মহিলা সত্যবাদিনী এবং সে মিথ্যাবাদি। |
Literal | He said: "She seduced/enticed me from myself." And a witness/testifier from her family/relation/people witnessed/testified: "If his shirt/dress was ripped/cut from (the) front , so she was truthful and he we was from the liars/falsifiers . |
Yusuf Ali | He said: "It was she that sought to seduce me - from my (true) self." And one of her household saw (this) and bore witness, (thus):- "If it be that his shirt is rent from the front, then is her tale true, and he is a liar! |
Pickthal | (Joseph) said: She it was who asked of me an evil act. And a witness of her own folk testified: If his shirt is torn from before, then she speaketh truth and he is of the liars. |
Arberry | Said he, 'It was she that solicited me'; and a witness of her folk bore witness, 'If his shirt has been torn from before then she has spoken truly, and he is one of the liars; |
