[12:14] | Qaloo la-in akalahu alththi/buwanahnu AAusbatun inna ithan lakhasiroona
|  قالوا لئن أكله الذئب ونحن عصبة إنا إذا لخاسرون
قَالُواْ لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| لئن - "If| أكله - eats him| الذئب - the wolf| ونحن - while we| عصبة - (are) a group,| إنا - indeed, we| إذا - then| لخاسرون - surely (would be) losers."| |

| «እኛ ጭፍራዎች ሆነን ሳለን ተኩላ ቢበላውማ እኛ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ ከሳሪዎች ነን» አሉት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا لإن } لام قسم { أكله الذئب ونحن عصبة } جماعة { إنا إذا لخاسرون } عاجزون فأرسله معهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ আমরা একটি ভারী দল থাকা সত্ত্বেও যদি ব্যাঘ্র তাকে খেয়ে ফেলে, তবে আমরা সবই হারালাম। |
