1 [12:100] | WarafaAAa abawayhi AAala alAAarshiwakharroo lahu sujjadan waqala ya abati hathata/weelu ru/yaya min qablu qad jaAAalaha rabbee haqqanwaqad ahsana bee ith akhrajanee mina alssijniwajaa bikum mina albadwi min baAAdi an nazagha alshshaytanubaynee wabayna ikhwatee inna rabbee lateefun limayashao innahu huwa alAAaleemu alhakeemu
| ورفع أبويه على العرش وخروا له سجدا وقال يا أبت هذا تأويل رؤياي من قبل قد جعلها ربي حقا وقد أحسن بي إذ أخرجني من السجن وجاء بكم من البدو من بعد أن نزغ الشيطان بيني وبين إخوتي إن ربي لطيف لما يشاء إنه هو العليم الحكيم وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيْهِ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَخَرُّواْ لَهُ سُجَّدًا وَقَالَ يَا أَبَتِ هَـذَا تَأْوِيلُ رُؤْيَايَ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّي حَقًّا وَقَدْ أَحْسَنَ بِي إِذْ أَخْرَجَنِي مِنَ السِّجْنِ وَجَاءَ بِكُم مِّنَ الْبَدْوِ مِن بَعْدِ أَن نَّزَغَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ إِخْوَتِي إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِّمَا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ |
Words | |ورفع - And he raised| أبويه - his parents| على - upon| العرش - the throne| وخروا - and they fell down| له - to him| سجدا - prostrate.| وقال - And he said,| يا - O| أبت - "O my father!| هذا - This| تأويل - (is the) interpretation| رؤياي - (of) my dream,| من - (of) before.| قبل - (of) before.| قد - Verily,| جعلها - has made it| ربي - my Lord| حقا - true.| وقد - And indeed,| أحسن - He was good| بي - to me| إذ - when| أخرجني - He took me out| من - of| السجن - the prison,| وجاء - and brought| بكم - you| من - from| البدو - the bedouin life| من - after| بعد - after| أن - [that]| نزغ - had caused discord| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| بيني - between me| وبين - and between| إخوتي - my brothers.| إن - Indeed,| ربي - my Lord| لطيف - (is) Most Subtle| لما - to what| يشاء - He wills.| إنه - Indeed, He,| هو - He| العليم - (is) the All-Knower,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| |

| ወላጆቹንም በዙፋኑ ላይ አወጣቸው፡፡ ለእርሱም ሰጋጆች ኾነው ወረዱለት፡፡ «አባቴም ሆይ! ይህ ፊት ያየኋት ሕልሜ ፍች ነው፡፡ ጌታ በእርግጥ እውነት አደረጋት፡፡ ከወህኒ ቤትም ባወጣኝና ሰይጣንም በእኔና በወንድሞቼ መካከል ከአበላሸ በኋላ እናንተን ከገጠር ባመጣችሁ ጊዜ በእርግጥ ለኔ መልካም ዋለልኝ፡፡ ጌታዬ ለሚሻው ነገር እዝነቱ ረቂቅ ነው፡፡ እነሆ እሱ ዐዋቂው ጥበበኛው ነው» አለ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ورفع أبويه } أحلهما معه { على العرش } السرير { وخروا } أي أبواه وإخوته { له سجدا } سجود انحناء لا وضع جبهة وكان تحيتهم في ذلك الزمان { وقال يا أبت هذا تأويل رؤياي من قبل قد جعلها ربي حقا وقد أحسن بي } إليَّ { إذ أخرجني من السجن } لم يقل من الحب تكرما لئلا تخجل إخوته { وجاء بكم من البدو } البادية { من بعد أن نزغ } أفسد { الشيطان بيني وبين إخوتي إن ربي لطيف لما يشاء إنه هو العليم } بخلقه { الحكيم } في صنعه وأقام عنده أبوه أربعا وعشرين سنة أو سبع عشرة سنة وكانت مدة فراقه ثماني عشرة أو أربعين أو ثمانين سنة وحضره الموت فوصى يوسف أن يحمله ويدفنه عند أبيه فمضى بنفسه ودفنه ثمة، ثم عاد إلى مصر وأقام بعده ثلاثا وعشرين سنة ولما تم أمره وعلم أنه لا يدوم تاقت نفسه إلى الملك الدائم فقال . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং তিনি পিতা-মাতাকে সিংহাসনের উপর বসালেন এবং তারা সবাই তাঁর সামনে সেজদাবনত হল। তিনি বললেনঃ পিতা এ হচ্ছে আমার ইতিপূর্বেকার স্বপ্নের বর্ণনা আমার পালনকর্তা একে সত্যে পরিণত করেছেন এবং তিনি আমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন। আমাকে জেল থেকে বের করেছেন এবং আপনাদেরকে গ্রাম থেকে নিয়ে এসেছেন, শয়তান আমার ও আমার ভাইদের মধ্যে কলহ সৃষ্টি করে দেয়ার পর। আমার পালনকর্তা যা চান, কৌশলে সম্পন্ন করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি বিজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়। |
Literal | And he rose his parents on the throne and they fell down to him prostrating, and he said: "You my father, that (is the) interpretation/explanation (of) my dream from before, my Lord had made it truthfully , and He had done good/bettered with me when He brought me out from the prison/jail, and He came with you from the desert from after that the devil spoiled between me and between my brothers, that my Lord (is) kind/soothing to what He wills/wants, that He is the knowledgeable, the wise/judicious. |
Yusuf Ali | And he raised his parents high on the throne (of dignity), and they fell down in prostration, (all) before him. He said: "O my father! this is the fulfilment of my vision of old! Allah hath made it come true! He was indeed good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you (all here) out of the desert, (even) after Satan had sown enmity between me and my brothers. Verily my Lord understandeth best the mysteries of all that He planneth to do, for verily He is full of knowledge and wisdom. |
Pickthal | And he placed his parents on the dais and they fell down before him prostrate, and he said: O my father! This is the interpretation of my dream of old. My Lord hath made it true, and He hath shown me kindness, since He took me out of the prison and hath brought you from the desert after Satan had made strife between me and my brethren. Lo! my Lord is tender unto whom He will. He is the Knower, the Wise. |
Arberry | And he lifted his father and mother upon the throne; and the others fell down prostrate before him. 'See, father,' he said, 'this is the interpretation of my vision of long ago; my Lord has made it true. He was good to me when He brought me forth from the prison, and again when He brought you out of the desert, after that Satan set at variance me and my brethren. My Lord is gentle to what He will; He is the All-knowing, the All-wise. |
Shakir | And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him, and he said: O my father! this is the significance of my vision of old; my Lord has indeed made it to be true; and He was indeed kind to me when He brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the Shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers, surely my Lord is benignant to whom He pleases; surely He is the Knowing, the Wise. |
Sarwar | My Lord, You have given me the kingdom and taught me the meaning of dreams. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. You are my Guardian in this world and in the life to come. Make me die as one who has submitted to the Will of God and unite me with the righteous ones. |
H/K/Saheeh | And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise. |
Malik | After entering the city he helped his parents to seats on the throne, and they all fell down in prostration before him. "This," said Joseph to his father, "is the interpretation of my dream which I dreamt long before. My Lord has really made it come true. It was His grace that He took me out of prison and brought you all here from the desert even though Satan had stirred up strife between me and my brothers. For sure my Lord fulfills His plan in mysterious ways. Surely He is the One Who is the Knowledgeable, the Wise.[100] |

Qaribullah | He lifted his parents to the throne, and (the others) bowed before him. Joseph said to his father: 'This is the meaning of my vision of long ago, my Lord has verified it. He has been gracious to me. He brought me out of prison and brought you out of the desert after satan had corrupted (the relationship) between me and my brothers. My Lord is Gentle to whom He will. He alone is the Knower, the Wise. |
George Sale | And he raised his parents to the seat of state, and they, together with his brethren, fell down and did obeisance unto him. And he said, O my father, this is the interpretation of my vision, which I saw heretofore: Now hath my Lord rendered it true. And He hath surely been gracious unto me, since He took me forth from the prison, and hath brought you hither from the desert; after that the devil had sown discord between me and my brethren: For my Lord is gracious unto whom He pleaseth; and He is the knowing, the wise God. |

He has blessed me, delivered me from the prison, and brought you from the desert, after the devil had driven a wedge between me and my brothers. My Lord is Most Kind towards whomever He wills. He is the Knower, the Most Wise." |
Hilali/Khan** | And he raised his parents to the throne and they fell down before him prostrate. And he said: "O my father! This is the interpretation of my dream aforetime! My Lord has made it come true! He was indeed good to me, when He took me out of the prison, and brought you (all here) out of the bedouin-life, after Shaitan (Satan) had sown enmity between me and my brothers. Certainly, my Lord is the Most Courteous and Kind unto whom He will. Truly He! Only He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. |

Satan (selfishness of my brothers) had sown enmity between us brothers. Verily, my Lord is Sublime in helping the worthy. He is the Knower, the Wise." |

| Na piyakadarpa iyan so dowa a loks iyan ko panggaw, go somiyondong siran on sa kapangalimbabaan. Na pitharo iyan: "Hay ama, giyai so taabir o taginpn ko gowani! Sabnar a biyaloy skaniyan o Kadnan ko a bnar. Go sabnar a phipiyapiyaan ako Niyan, gowani a pakaliyon ako Niyan ko kalaboso, go piyakawma kano niyan a phoon ko pagonayan (sa Palistin), ko oriyan o kiyabinasaa rakn o shaytan ago so manga pagari ko. Mataan! a so Kadnan ko na Malai-gagaw ko kabaya Iyan. Mataan! a Skaniyan so Matao, a Mawngangn." |
Ahmed Raza Khan | اور اپنے ماں باپ کو تخت پر بٹھایا اور سب اس کے لیے سجدے میں گرے اور یوسف نے کہا اے میرے باپ یہ میرے پہلے خواب کی تعبیر ہے بیشک اسے میرے رب نے سچا کیا، اور بیشک اس نے مجھ پر احسان کیا کہ مجھے قید سے نکالا اور آپ سب کو گاؤں سے لے آیا بعد اس کے کہ شیطان نے مجھ میں اور میرے بھائیوں میں ناچاقی کرادی تھی، بیشک میرا رب جس بات کو چاہے آسان کردے بیشک وہی علم و حکمت والا ہے |
Shabbir Ahmed | اور احترام سے بٹھایا اپنے والدین کو تخت پر اور گر پڑے سب یُوسف کے آگے سجدے میں۔ (اس وقت) یُوسف نے کہا: ابّا جان! یہ ہے تعبیر میرے خواب کی (جو میں نے دیکھا تھا) پہلے۔ کر دکھایا ہے اسے میرے رب نے سچّا اور اس کا احسان ہے مجھ پر کہ نکالا اُس نے مجھے قید خانہ سے اور لے آیا آپ سب کو دیہات سے اس کے بعد کہ فساد ڈال دیا تھا شیطان نے میرے اور میرے بھائیوں کے درمیان۔ بے شک میرا رب غیر محسوس تدبیریں کرتا ہے اپنی مشیّت (پُوری) کرنے کے لیے، بے شک وہ ہے ہر بات جاننے والا اور بڑی حکمت والا۔ |
Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور اپنے والدین کو تخت پر بٹھایا اور سب یوسفؑ کے آگے سجدہ میں گر پڑے اور (اس وقت) یوسف نے کہا ابا جان یہ میرے اس خواب کی تعبیر ہے جو میں نے پہلے (بچپن میں) دیکھا تھا۔ میرے پروردگار نے اسے سچ کر دکھایا اور اس نے مجھ پر (بہت سے) احسان کئے ہیں کہ مجھ کو جیل خانے سے نکالا۔ اور اس کے بعد کہ شیطان نے مجھ میں اور میرے بھائیوں میں فساد ڈال دیا تھا۔ آپ کو گاؤں سے یہاں لایا۔ بےشک میرا پروردگار جو چاہتا ہے تدبیر سے کرتا ہے۔ وہ دانا (اور) حکمت والا ہے |
