| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:5] | Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahumliyastakhfoo minhu ala heena yastaghshoona thiyabahumyaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahuAAaleemun bithati alssudoori
|  ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه عليم بذات الصدور
أَلاَ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُواْ مِنْهُ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ |
| Words | |ألا - No doubt!| إنهم - They| يثنون - fold up| صدورهم - their breasts| ليستخفوا - that they may hide| منه - from Him.| ألا - Surely,| حين - when| يستغشون - they cover (themselves)| ثيابهم - (with) their garments,| يعلم - He knows| ما - what| يسرون - they conceal| وما - and what| يعلنون - they reveal.| إنه - Indeed, He| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| |

| ንቁ! እነሱ ከእርሱ (ከአላህ) ይደበቁ ዘንድ ደረቶቻቸውን ያጥፋሉ፡፡ ንቁ! ልብሶቻቸውን በሚከናነቡ ጊዜ የሚደብቁትን የሚገልጹትንም ሁሉ ያውቃል፡፡ እርሱ በደረቶች ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ونزل كما رواه البخاري عن ابن عباس فيمن كان يستحي أن يتخلى أو يجامع فيقبض إلى السماء وقبل في المنافقين { ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه } أي الله { ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم } يتغطون بها { يعلم } تعالى { ما يُسرون وما يُعلنون } فلا يُغني استخفاؤهم { إنه عليم بذات الصدور } أي بما في القلوب . |
| Day nitni, s tidep, ur snefvasen ara idmaren nnsen, iwakken ad ffren fellaS? Xas $ummen s iceîîiven nnsen, day ur Iéôa ara ayen teffren akked wayen d qqaôen? Neppa, s tidep, Issen i illan deg idmaren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদের বক্ষদেশ ঘুরিয়ে দেয় যেন আল্লাহর নিকট হতে লুকাতে পারে। শুন, তারা তখন কাপড়ে নিজেদেরকে আচ্ছাদিত করে, তিনি তখনও জানেন যা কিছু তারা চুপিসারে বলে আর প্রকাশ্যভাবে বলে। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন যা কিছু অন্তর সমূহে নিহিত রয়েছে। |
| Literal | Is it not that they truly fold/bend/double/twist (hide) their chests (innermosts) to hide from Him? Is it not that when they cover/darken themselves (with) their clothes/garments/dresses, He knows what they keep secret and what they declare/publicize/announce? That He is knowledgeable of the chests (innermosts). |
| Yusuf Ali | Behold! they fold up their hearts, that they may lie hid from Him! Ah even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knoweth what they conceal, and what they reveal: for He knoweth well the (inmost secrets) of the hearts. |

| Sarwar | (The unbelievers) cover their breasts to try to hide their disbelief from God. But He knows very well whatever they conceal or reveal even when they cover themselves with their garments. God certainly knows the inner-most (secrets) of the hearts. |
| H/K/Saheeh | Unquestionably, they the disbelievers turn away their breasts to hide themselves from Him. Unquestionably, [even] when they cover themselves in their clothing, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. |
| Malik | Behold! They cover up their chests to conceal their thoughts from Him! Beware! Even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knows what they conceal and what they reveal, for He knows even the inmost secrets of the chests.[5] |

| Tanodan! ka mataan! a siran na pag-unsn iran ko manga rarb iran, ka pphagmaan iran on; tanodan! ka so wakto a kizasalikombongn iran ko manga nditarn iran, na katawan (o Allah) so isosoln iran, go so papayagn iran: Mataan! a Skaniyan na katawan Iyan so zisii ko manga rarb. |
