بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [11:118] | Walaw shaa rabbuka lajaAAala alnnasaommatan wahidatan wala yazaloonamukhtalifeena
| ولو شاء ربك لجعل الناس أمة واحدة ولا يزالون مختلفين وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ |
Words | |ولو - And if| شاء - your Lord (had) willed| ربك - your Lord (had) willed| لجعل - surely He (could) have made| الناس - the mankind| أمة - one community,| واحدة - one community,| ولا - but not| يزالون - they will cease| مختلفين - to differ.| |

| ጌታህም በሻ ኖሮ ሰዎችን ሁሉ አንድ ሕዝብ ባደረጋቸው ነበር፡፡ የተለያዩም ከመሆን አይወገዱም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولو شاء ربك لجعل الناس أمَّة واحدة } أهل دين واحد { ولا يزالون مختلفين } في الدين . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তোমার পালনকর্তা যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই সব মানুষকে একই জাতিসত্তায় পরিনত করতে পারতেন আর তারা বিভিন্ন ভাগে বিভক্ত হতো না। |
