| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:9] | Wala-in athaqna al-insanaminna rahmatan thumma nazaAAnahaminhu innahu layaoosun kafoorun
|  ولئن أذقنا الإنسان منا رحمة ثم نزعناها منه إنه ليئوس كفور
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُ لَيَئُوسٌ كَفُورٌ |
| Words | |ولئن - And if| أذقنا - We give man a taste| الإنسان - We give man a taste| منا - (of) Mercy from Us,| رحمة - (of) Mercy from Us,| ثم - then| نزعناها - We withdraw it| منه - from him,| إنه - indeed, he| ليئوس - (is) despairing| كفور - (and) ungrateful.| |

| ሰውንም ከእኛ ችሮታን ብናቀምሰው ከዚያም ከርሱ ብንወስዳት እርሱ በእርግጥ ተስፋ ቆራጭ ክህደተ ብርቱ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولئن أذقنا الإنسان } الكافر { منا رحمة } غنى وصحة { ثم نزعناها منه إنه ليئوس } قنوط من رحمة الله { كفور } شديد الكفر به . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর অবশ্যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ করতে দেই, অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ্ন হয়। |
| Literal | And if (E) We made the human/mankind taste/experience from Us mercy, then We removed it from him, that he truly is (a) despairing/hopeless (E) (insistent) disbeliever/(insisting) disbelief. |
| Yusuf Ali | If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy. |
