| 1 [10:42] | Waminhum man yastamiAAoona ilayka afaantatusmiAAu alssumma walaw kanoo layaAAqiloona |  ومنهم من يستمعون إليك أفأنت تسمع الصم ولو كانوا لا يعقلونوَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (are some) who| يستمعون - listen| إليك - to you.| أفأنت - But (can) you| تسمع - cause the deaf to hear| الصم - cause the deaf to hear| ولو - even though| كانوا - they [were]| لا - (do) not| يعقلون - use reason?| | ||||||
| 2 [17:47] | Nahnu aAAlamu bimayastamiAAoona bihi ith yastamiAAoona ilayka wa-ithhum najwa ith yaqoolu alththalimoonain tattabiAAoona illa rajulan mashooran | نحن أعلم بما يستمعون به إذ يستمعون إليك وإذ هم نجوى إذ يقول الظالمون إن تتبعون إلا رجلا مسحورا نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَسْتَمِعُونَ بِهِ إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِذْ هُمْ نَجْوَى إِذْ يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ رَجُلاً مَّسْحُورًا | |||||

| 3 [39:18] | Allatheena yastamiAAoona alqawlafayattabiAAoona ahsanahu ola-ika allatheenahadahumu Allahu waola-ika hum oloo al-albabi | الذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه أولئك الذين هداهم الله وأولئك هم أولو الألباب الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ | |||||

| 4 [46:29] | Wa-ith sarafna ilaykanafaran mina aljinni yastamiAAoona alqur-ana falammahadaroohu qaloo ansitoo falammaqudiya wallaw ila qawmihim munthireena | وإذ صرفنا إليك نفرا من الجن يستمعون القرآن فلما حضروه قالوا أنصتوا فلما قضي ولوا إلى قومهم منذرين وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| صرفنا - We directed| إليك - to you| نفرا - a party| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| يستمعون - listening| القرآن - (to) the Quran.| فلما - And when| حضروه - they attended it,| قالوا - they said,| أنصتوا - "Listen quietly."| فلما - And when| قضي - it was concluded,| ولوا - they turned back| إلى - to| قومهم - their people| منذرين - (as) warners.| | ||||||
| 5 [52:38] | Am lahum sullamun yastamiAAoona feehifalya/ti mustamiAAuhum bisultanin mubeenin | أم لهم سلم يستمعون فيه فليأت مستمعهم بسلطان مبين أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| لهم - for them| سلم - (is) a stairway,| يستمعون - they listen| فيه - therewith?| فليأت - Then let bring,| مستمعهم - their listener,| بسلطان - an authority| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
