| 1 [4:62] | Fakayfa itha asabat-hum museebatunbima qaddamat aydeehim thumma jaooka yahlifoonabiAllahi in aradna illa ihsananwatawfeeqan |  فكيف إذا أصابتهم مصيبة بما قدمت أيديهم ثم جاءوك يحلفون بالله إن أردنا إلا إحسانا وتوفيقافَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآؤُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلاَّ إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - So how| إذا - when| أصابتهم - befalls them| مصيبة - disaster| بما - for what| قدمت - sent forth| أيديهم - their hands| ثم - then| جاءوك - they come to you| يحلفون - swearing| بالله - by Allah,| إن - "Not| أردنا - we intended| إلا - except| إحسانا - good| وتوفيقا - and reconciliation."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:62] | Yahlifoona biAllahilakum liyurdookum waAllahu warasooluhu ahaqquan yurdoohu in kanoo mu/mineena | يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم والله ورسوله أحق أن يرضوه إن كانوا مؤمنين يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَاللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| لكم - to you| ليرضوكم - to please you.| والله - And Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| أحق - (have) more right| أن - that| يرضوه - they should please Him,| إن - if| كانوا - they are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:74] | Yahlifoona biAllahi maqaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroobaAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloowama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahuwarasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahumwa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathabanaleeman fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin | يحلفون بالله ما قالوا ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم وهموا بما لم ينالوا وما نقموا إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم وإن يتولوا يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم في الأرض من ولي ولا نصير يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدْ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُواْ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ إِلاَّ أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| ما - (that) they said nothing,| قالوا - (that) they said nothing,| ولقد - while certainly| قالوا - they said| كلمة - (the) word| الكفر - (of) the disbelief| وكفروا - and disbelieved| بعد - after| إسلامهم - their (pretense of) Islam,| وهموا - and planned| بما - [of] what| لم - not| ينالوا - they could attain.| وما - And not| نقموا - they were resentful| إلا - except| أن - that| أغناهم - Allah had enriched them| الله - Allah had enriched them| ورسوله - and His Messenger| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| فإن - So if| يتوبوا - they repent,| يك - it is| خيرا - better| لهم - for them,| وإن - and if| يتولوا - they turn away,| يعذبهم - Allah will punish them| الله - Allah will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - a helper.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:96] | Yahlifoona lakum litardawAAanhum fa-in tardaw AAanhum fa-inna Allaha layarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena | يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم فإن ترضوا عنهم فإن الله لا يرضى عن القوم الفاسقين يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْاْ عَنْهُمْ فَإِن تَرْضَوْاْ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَرْضَى عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| لكم - to you| لترضوا - that you may be pleased| عنهم - with them.| فإن - But if| ترضوا - you are pleased| عنهم - with them,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not pleased| يرضى - (is) not pleased| عن - with| القوم - the people| الفاسقين - (who are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 5 [58:18] | Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAanfayahlifoona lahu kama yahlifoona lakum wayahsaboonaannahum AAala shay-in ala innahum humu alkathiboona | يوم يبعثهم الله جميعا فيحلفون له كما يحلفون لكم ويحسبون أنهم على شيء ألا إنهم هم الكاذبون يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (On the) Day| يبعثهم - Allah will raise them| الله - Allah will raise them| جميعا - all,| فيحلفون - then they will swear| له - to Him| كما - as| يحلفون - they swear| لكم - to you.| ويحسبون - And they think| أنهم - that they| على - (are) on| شيء - something.| ألا - No doubt!| إنهم - Indeed, they| هم - [they]| الكاذبون - (are) the liars.| | ||||||
