| 1 [2:150] | Wamin haythu kharajta fawalliwajhaka shatra almasjidi alharami wahaythuma kuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu li-allayakoona lilnnasi AAalaykum hujjatun illaallatheena thalamoo minhum falatakhshawhum waikhshawnee wali-otimma niAAmatee AAalaykumwalaAAallakum tahtadoona |  ومن حيث خرجت فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره لئلا يكون للناس عليكم حجة إلا الذين ظلموا منهم فلا تخشوهم واخشوني ولأتم نعمتي عليكم ولعلكم تهتدونوَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنْهُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| حيث - wherever| خرجت - you start forth| فول - [so] turn| وجهك - your face| شطر - (in the) direction| المسجد - (of) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam.| وحيث - And wherever| ما - that| كنتم - you (all) are| فولوا - [so] turn| وجوهكم - your faces| شطره - (in) its direction,| لئلا - so that not| يكون - will be| للناس - for the people| عليكم - against you| حجة - any argument| إلا - except| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| منهم - among them;| فلا - so (do) not| تخشوهم - fear them,| واخشوني - but fear Me.| ولأتم - And that I complete| نعمتي - My favor| عليكم - upon you| ولعلكم - [and] so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:185] | Shahru ramadana allatheeonzila feehi alqur-anu hudan lilnnasiwabayyinatin mina alhuda waalfurqanifaman shahida minkumu alshshahra falyasumhu waman kanamareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun min ayyaminokhara yureedu Allahu bikumu alyusra wala yureedubikumu alAAusra walitukmiloo alAAiddata walitukabbiroo AllahaAAala ma hadakum walaAAallakum tashkuroona | شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الشهر فليصمه ومن كان مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر ولتكملوا العدة ولتكبروا الله على ما هداكم ولعلكم تشكرون شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيْ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |شهر - Month| رمضان - (of) Ramadhaan| الذي - (is) that| أنزل - was revealed| فيه - therein| القرآن - the Quran,| هدى - a Guidance| للناس - for mankind| وبينات - and clear proofs| من - of| الهدى - [the] Guidance| والفرقان - and the Criterion.| فمن - So whoever| شهد - witnesses| منكم - among you| الشهر - the month,| فليصمه - then he should fast in it,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| مريضا - sick| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey| فعدة - then prescribed number (should be made up)| من - from| أيام - days| أخر - other.| يريد - Intends| الله - Allah| بكم - for you| اليسر - [the] ease| ولا - and not| يريد - intends| بكم - for you| العسر - [the] hardship,| ولتكملوا - so that you complete| العدة - the prescribed period| ولتكبروا - and that you magnify| الله - Allah| على - for| ما - [what]| هداكم - He guided you| ولعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:63] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakumwalitattaqoo walaAAallakum turhamoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم ولتتقوا ولعلكم ترحمون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُواْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوعجبتم - Do you wonder| أن - that| جاءكم - has come to you| ذكر - a reminder| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| على - on| رجل - a man| منكم - among you,| لينذركم - that he may warn you| ولتتقوا - and that you may fear,| ولعلكم - and so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy."| | ||||||
| 4 [16:14] | Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahralita/kuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoominhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulkamawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona | وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| سخر - subjected| البحر - the sea| لتأكلوا - for you to eat| منه - from it| لحما - meat| طريا - fresh| وتستخرجوا - and that you bring forth| منه - from it,| حلية - ornaments| تلبسونها - (that) you wear them.| وترى - And you see| الفلك - the ships| مواخر - ploughing| فيه - through it,| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 5 [28:73] | Wamin rahmatihi jaAAala lakumuallayla waalnnahara litaskunoo feehi walitabtaghoomin fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | ومن رحمته جعل لكم الليل والنهار لتسكنوا فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| رحمته - His Mercy| جعل - He made| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| لتسكنوا - that you may rest| فيه - therein| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - from| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and so that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 6 [30:46] | Wamin ayatihi an yursila alrriyahamubashshiratin waliyutheeqakum min rahmatihiwalitajriya alfulku bi-amrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona | ومن آياته أن يرسل الرياح مبشرات وليذيقكم من رحمته ولتجري الفلك بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَلِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| أن - (is) that| يرسل - He sends| الرياح - the winds| مبشرات - (as) bearers of glad tidings| وليذيقكم - and to let you taste| من - of| رحمته - His Mercy,| ولتجري - and that may sail| الفلك - the ships| بأمره - at His Command,| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 7 [35:12] | Wama yastawee albahranihatha AAathbun furatun sa-ighun sharabuhuwahatha milhun ojajun wamin kullinta/kuloona lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoona hilyatantalbasoonaha watara alfulka feehi mawakhiralitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | وما يستوي البحران هذا عذب فرات سائغ شرابه وهذا ملح أجاج ومن كل تأكلون لحما طريا وتستخرجون حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك فيه مواخر لتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَمِن كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يستوي - are alike| البحران - the two seas.| هذا - This| عذب - (is) fresh,| فرات - sweet,| سائغ - pleasant| شرابه - its drink,| وهذا - and this| ملح - salty| أجاج - (and) bitter.| ومن - And from| كل - each| تأكلون - you eat| لحما - meat| طريا - fresh| وتستخرجون - and you extract| حلية - ornaments| تلبسونها - you wear them,| وترى - and you see| الفلك - the ships| فيه - in it,| مواخر - cleaving,| لتبتغوا - so that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 8 [40:67] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum min turabinthumma min nutfatin thumma min AAalaqatin thummayukhrijukum tiflan thumma litablughoo ashuddakum thummalitakoonoo shuyookhan waminkum man yutawaffa min qabluwalitablughoo ajalan musamman walaAAallakum taAAqiloona | هو الذي خلقكم من تراب ثم من نطفة ثم من علقة ثم يخرجكم طفلا ثم لتبلغوا أشدكم ثم لتكونوا شيوخا ومنكم من يتوفى من قبل ولتبلغوا أجلا مسمى ولعلكم تعقلون هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّى مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| تراب - dust,| ثم - then| من - from| نطفة - a semen-drop,| ثم - then| من - from| علقة - a clinging substance,| ثم - then| يخرجكم - He brings you out| طفلا - (as) a child;| ثم - then| لتبلغوا - lets you reach| أشدكم - your maturity,| ثم - then| لتكونوا - lets you become| شيوخا - old -| ومنكم - and among you| من - (is he) who| يتوفى - dies| من - before -| قبل - before -| ولتبلغوا - and lets you reach| أجلا - a term| مسمى - specified,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تعقلون - use reason.| | ||||||
| 9 [45:12] | Allahu allathee sakhkharalakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi bi-amrihiwalitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | الله الذي سخر لكم البحر لتجري الفلك فيه بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي سخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
