| 1 [2:114] | Waman athlamu mimman manaAAamasajida Allahi an yuthkara feehaismuhu wasaAAa fee kharabiha ola-ikama kana lahum an yadkhulooha illa kha-ifeenalahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee al-akhiratiAAathabun AAatheemun |  ومن أظلم ممن منع مساجد الله أن يذكر فيها اسمه وسعى في خرابها أولئك ما كان لهم أن يدخلوها إلا خائفين لهم في الدنيا خزي ولهم في الآخرة عذاب عظيموَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| منع - prevents| مساجد - (the) masajid| الله - (of) Allah| أن - to| يذكر - be mentioned| فيها - in them| اسمه - His name,| وسعى - and strives| في - for| خرابها - their destruction?| أولئك - Those!| ما - Not| كان - it is| لهم - for them| أن - that| يدخلوها - they enter them| إلا - except| خائفين - (like) those in fear.| لهم - For them| في - in| الدنيا - the world| خزي - (is) disgrace| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 2 [17:19] | Waman arada al-akhirata wasaAAalaha saAAyaha wahuwa mu/minun faola-ika kanasaAAyuhum mashkooran | ومن أراد الآخرة وسعى لها سعيها وهو مؤمن فأولئك كان سعيهم مشكورا وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ وَسَعَى لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| أراد - desires| الآخرة - the Hereafter| وسعى - and exerts| لها - for it| سعيها - the effort,| وهو - while he| مؤمن - (is) a believer,| فأولئك - then those| كان - [are]| سعيهم - their effort,| مشكورا - (is) appreciated.| | ||||||
