| 1 [3:79] | Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukmawaalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona |  ما كان لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن كونوا ربانيين بما كنتم تعلمون الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسونمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَادًا لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - is| لبشر - for a human| أن - that| يؤتيه - gives him| الله - Allah| الكتاب - the Book,| والحكم - and the wisdom,| والنبوة - and the Prophethood,| ثم - then| يقول - he says| للناس - to the people,| كونوا - "Be| عبادا - worshippers| لي - of me| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| ولكن - but (would say)| كونوا - "Be| ربانيين - worshippers of the Lord| بما - because| كنتم - you have been| تعلمون - teaching| الكتاب - the Book| وبما - and because| كنتم - you have been| تدرسون - studying (it)."| | ||||||
| 2 [6:89] | Ola-ika allatheena ataynahumualkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwatafa-in yakfur biha haola-i faqad wakkalnabiha qawman laysoo biha bikafireena | أولئك الذين آتيناهم الكتاب والحكم والنبوة فإن يكفر بها هؤلاء فقد وكلنا بها قوما ليسوا بها بكافرين أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَـؤُلاَءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُواْ بِهَا بِكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those -| الذين - (are) ones whom| آتيناهم - We gave them| الكتاب - the Book| والحكم - and the judgment| والنبوة - and the Prophethood.| فإن - But if| يكفر - disbelieve| بها - in it| هؤلاء - these,| فقد - then indeed,| وكلنا - We have entrusted| بها - it| قوما - (to) a people| ليسوا - who are not| بها - therein| بكافرين - disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 3 [45:16] | Walaqad atayna banee isra-eelaalkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwatawarazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahumAAala alAAalameena | ولقد آتينا بني إسرائيل الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم على العالمين وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| آتينا - We gave| بني - (the) Children of Israel| إسرائيل - (the) Children of Israel| الكتاب - the Book| والحكم - and the wisdom| والنبوة - and the Prophethood,| ورزقناهم - and We provided them| من - of| الطيبات - the good things| وفضلناهم - and We preferred them| على - over| العالمين - the worlds.| | ||||||
