| 1 [4:173] | Faamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehimojoorahum wayazeeduhum min fadlihi waamma allatheenaistankafoo waistakbaroo fayuAAaththibuhum AAathabanaleeman wala yajidoona lahum min dooni Allahiwaliyyan wala naseeran |  فأما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فيوفيهم أجورهم ويزيدهم من فضله وأما الذين استنكفوا واستكبروا فيعذبهم عذابا أليما ولا يجدون لهم من دون الله وليا ولا نصيرافَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْتَنكَفُواْ وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| وعملوا - and did| الصالحات - the righteous deeds| فيوفيهم - then He will give them in full| أجورهم - their reward| ويزيدهم - and give them more| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| استنكفوا - disdained| واستكبروا - and were arrogant| فيعذبهم - then He will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| ولا - and not| يجدون - will they find| لهم - for themselves| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| وليا - any protector| ولا - and not| نصيرا - any helper.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:36] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina waistakbaroo AAanhaola-ika as-habu alnnari humfeeha khalidoona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَا أُوْلَـَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - But those who| كذبوا - deny| بآياتنا - Our Verses| واستكبروا - and (are) arrogant| عنها - towards them| أولئك - those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:40] | Inna allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaistakbaroo AAanha la tufattahulahum abwabu alssama-i walayadkhuloona aljannata hatta yalija aljamalu feesammi alkhiyati wakathalika najzee almujrimeena | إن الذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها لا تفتح لهم أبواب السماء ولا يدخلون الجنة حتى يلج الجمل في سم الخياط وكذلك نجزي المجرمين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَا لاَ تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلاَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Verses| واستكبروا - and (were) arrogant| عنها - towards them,| لا - (will) not| تفتح - be opened| لهم - for them| أبواب - (the) doors| السماء - (of) the heaven,| ولا - and not| يدخلون - they will enter| الجنة - Paradise| حتى - until| يلج - passes| الجمل - the camel| في - through| سم - (the) eye| الخياط - (of) the needle.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| المجرمين - the criminals.| | ||||||
| 4 [71:7] | Wa-innee kullama daAAawtuhumlitaghfira lahum jaAAaloo asabiAAahum fee athanihimwaistaghshaw thiyabahum waasarroo waistakbarooistikbaran | وإني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا أصابعهم في آذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم وأصروا واستكبروا استكبارا وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا | |||||
| Words | |وإني - And indeed, I| كلما - every time,| دعوتهم - I invited them| لتغفر - that You may forgive| لهم - them,| جعلوا - they put| أصابعهم - their fingers| في - in| آذانهم - their ears| واستغشوا - and covered themselves| ثيابهم - (with) their garments| وأصروا - and persisted| واستكبروا - and were arrogant| استكبارا - (with) pride.| | ||||||
