| 1 [12:80] | Falamma istay-asoo minhu khalasoonajiyyan qala kabeeruhum alam taAAlamoo anna abakumqad akhatha AAalaykum mawthiqan mina Allahi waminqablu ma farrattum fee yoosufa falan abrahaal-arda hatta ya/thana lee abee aw yahkumaAllahu lee wahuwa khayru alhakimeena |  فلما استيأسوا منه خلصوا نجيا قال كبيرهم ألم تعلموا أن أباكم قد أخذ عليكم موثقا من الله ومن قبل ما فرطتم في يوسف فلن أبرح الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمينفَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُواْ مِنْهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّىَ يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| استيأسوا - they despaired| منه - of him,| خلصوا - they secluded themselves| نجيا - (in) private consultation.| قال - Said| كبيرهم - the eldest among them,| ألم - "Do not| تعلموا - you know| أن - that| أباكم - your father,| قد - has taken| أخذ - has taken| عليكم - upon you| موثقا - a promise| من - by| الله - Allah,| ومن - and before| قبل - and before| ما - that| فرطتم - you failed| في - concerning| يوسف - Yusuf?| فلن - So never| أبرح - will I leave| الأرض - the land| حتى - until| يأذن - permits| لي - me| أبي - my father| أو - or| يحكم - Allah decides| الله - Allah decides| لي - for me,| وهو - and He| خير - (is) the Best| الحاكمين - (of) the judges.| | ||||||
| 2 [19:52] | Wanadaynahu min janibialttoori al-aymani waqarrabnahu najiyyan | وناديناه من جانب الطور الأيمن وقربناه نجيا وَنَادَيْنَاهُ مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَاهُ نَجِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |وناديناه - And We called him| من - from| جانب - (the) side| الطور - (of) the Mount| الأيمن - the right,| وقربناه - and brought him near| نجيا - (for) conversation.| | ||||||
