| 1 [2:260] | Wa-ith qala ibraheemurabbi arinee kayfa tuhyee almawta qala awalam tu/min qala bala walakin liyatma-innaqalbee qala fakhuth arbaAAatan mina alttayrifasurhunna ilayka thumma ijAAal AAala kulli jabalinminhunna juz-an thumma odAAuhunna ya/teenaka saAAyan waiAAlamanna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun |  وإذ قال إبراهيم رب أرني كيف تحيي الموتى قال أولم تؤمن قال بلى ولكن ليطمئن قلبي قال فخذ أربعة من الطير فصرهن إليك ثم اجعل على كل جبل منهن جزءا ثم ادعهن يأتينك سعيا واعلم أن الله عزيز حكيموَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قَالَ بَلَى وَلَـكِن لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي قَالَ فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنَ الطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَلَى كُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًا ثُمَّ ادْعُهُنَّ يَأْتِينَكَ سَعْيًا وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| رب - "My Lord| أرني - show me| كيف - how| تحيي - You give life| الموتى - (to) the dead."| قال - He said,| أولم - "Have not| تؤمن - you believed?"| قال - He said,| بلى - "Yes| ولكن - [and] but| ليطمئن - to satisfy| قلبي - my heart."| قال - He said| فخذ - "Then take| أربعة - four| من - of| الطير - the birds| فصرهن - and incline them| إليك - towards you,| ثم - then| اجعل - put| على - on| كل - each| جبل - hill| منهن - of them| جزءا - a portion;| ثم - then| ادعهن - call them,| يأتينك - they will come to you| سعيا - (in) haste.| واعلم - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:24] | Waalmuhsanatu mina alnnisa-iilla ma malakat aymanukum kitaba AllahiAAalaykum waohilla lakum ma waraa thalikuman tabtaghoo bi-amwalikum muhsineena ghayra musafiheenafama istamtaAAtum bihi minhunna faatoohunnaojoorahunna fareedatan wala junaha AAalaykumfeema taradaytum bihi min baAAdi alfareedatiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | والمحصنات من النساء إلا ما ملكت أيمانكم كتاب الله عليكم وأحل لكم ما وراء ذلكم أن تبتغوا بأموالكم محصنين غير مسافحين فما استمتعتم به منهن فآتوهن أجورهن فريضة ولا جناح عليكم فيما تراضيتم به من بعد الفريضة إن الله كان عليما حكيما وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلاَّ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ كِتَابَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكُمْ أَن تَبْتَغُواْ بِأَمْوَالِكُم مُّحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ فَمَا اسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا تَرَاضَيْتُم بِهِ مِن بَعْدِ الْفَرِيضَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |والمحصنات - And (prohibited are) the ones who are married| من - of| النساء - the women| إلا - except| ما - whom| ملكت - you possess| أيمانكم - rightfully.| كتاب - Decree| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you.| وأحل - And are lawful| لكم - to you| ما - what| وراء - (is) beyond| ذلكم - that;| أن - that| تبتغوا - you seek| بأموالكم - with your wealth| محصنين - desiring to be chaste| غير - not| مسافحين - (to be) lustful.| فما - So what| استمتعتم - you benefit[ed]| به - of it| منهن - from them,| فآتوهن - so you give them| أجورهن - their bridal due| فريضة - (as) an obligation.| ولا - And (there is) no| جناح - sin| عليكم - on you| فيما - concerning what| تراضيتم - you mutually agree| به - of it| من - from| بعد - beyond| الفريضة - the obligation.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:31] | Falamma samiAAat bimakrihinna arsalatilayhinna waaAAtadat lahunna muttakaan waatat kulla wahidatinminhunna sikkeenan waqalati okhruj AAalayhinna falammaraaynahu akbarnahu waqattaAAna aydiyahunna waqulna hashalillahi ma hatha basharan in hathailla malakun kareemun | فلما سمعت بمكرهن أرسلت إليهن وأعتدت لهن متكأ وآتت كل واحدة منهن سكينا وقالت اخرج عليهن فلما رأينه أكبرنه وقطعن أيديهن وقلن حاش لله ما هذا بشرا إن هذا إلا ملك كريم فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَأً وَآتَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِّنْهُنَّ سِكِّينًا وَقَالَتِ اخْرُجْ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْنَهُ أَكْبَرْنَهُ وَقَطَّعْنَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ وَقُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلّهِ مَا هَـذَا بَشَرًا إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ مَلَكٌ كَرِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| سمعت - she heard| بمكرهن - of their scheming,| أرسلت - she sent| إليهن - for them| وأعتدت - and she prepared| لهن - for them| متكأ - a banquet| وآتت - and she gave| كل - each| واحدة - one| منهن - of them| سكينا - a knife| وقالت - and she said,| اخرج - "Come out| عليهن - before them."| فلما - Then when| رأينه - they saw him| أكبرنه - they greatly admired him,| وقطعن - and cut| أيديهن - their hands,| وقلن - they said,| حاش - "Forbid| لله - Allah,| ما - not| هذا - (is) this| بشرا - a man| إن - not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| ملك - an angel| كريم - noble."| | ||||||
| 4 [33:4] | Ma jaAAala Allahu lirajulin minqalbayni fee jawfihi wama jaAAala azwajakumu alla-eetuthahiroona minhunna ommahatikum wamajaAAala adAAiyaakum abnaakum thalikumqawlukum bi-afwahikum waAllahu yaqoolu alhaqqawahuwa yahdee alssabeela | ما جعل الله لرجل من قلبين في جوفه وما جعل أزواجكم اللائي تظاهرون منهن أمهاتكم وما جعل أدعياءكم أبناءكم ذلكم قولكم بأفواهكم والله يقول الحق وهو يهدي السبيل مَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَاجَكُمُ اللَّائِي تُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَاءَكُمْ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَقُولُ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِي السَّبِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| جعل - Allah (has) made| الله - Allah (has) made| لرجل - for any man| من - [of]| قلبين - two hearts| في - in| جوفه - his interior.| وما - And not| جعل - He (has) made| أزواجكم - your wives| اللائي - whom| تظاهرون - you declare unlawful| منهن - [of them]| أمهاتكم - (as) your mothers.| وما - And not| جعل - He has made| أدعياءكم - your adopted sons| أبناءكم - your sons.| ذلكم - That| قولكم - (is) your saying| بأفواهكم - by your mouths,| والله - but Allah| يقول - says| الحق - the truth,| وهو - and He| يهدي - guides| السبيل - (to) the Way.| | ||||||
| 5 [33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تقول - you said| للذي - to the one,| أنعم - Allah bestowed favor| الله - Allah bestowed favor| عليه - on him| وأنعمت - and you bestowed favor| عليه - on him,| أمسك - "Keep| عليك - to yourself| زوجك - your wife| واتق - and fear| الله - Allah."| وتخفي - But you concealed| في - within| نفسك - yourself| ما - what| الله - Allah| مبديه - (was to) disclose.| وتخشى - And you fear| الناس - the people,| والله - while Allah| أحق - has more right| أن - that| تخشاه - you (should) fear Him.| فلما - So when| قضى - ended| زيد - Zaid| منها - from her| وطرا - necessary (formalities),| زوجناكها - We married her to you| لكي - so that| لا - not| يكون - there be| على - on| المؤمنين - the believers| حرج - any discomfort| في - concerning| أزواج - the wives| أدعيائهم - (of) their adopted sons| إذا - when| قضوا - they have ended| منهن - from them| وطرا - necessary (formalities).| وكان - And is| أمر - (the) Command| الله - (of) Allah| مفعولا - accomplished.| | ||||||
| 6 [33:51] | Turjee man tashao minhunna watu/weeilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta falajunaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarraaAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bimaataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu yaAAlamu mafee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleeman | ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما آتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ترجي - You may defer| من - whom| تشاء - you will| منهن - of them| وتؤوي - or you may take| إليك - to yourself| من - whom| تشاء - you will.| ومن - And whoever| ابتغيت - you desire| ممن - of those whom| عزلت - you (had) set aside -| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليك - upon you.| ذلك - That| أدنى - (is) more suitable| أن - that| تقر - may be cooled| أعينهن - their eyes| ولا - and not| يحزن - they grieve| ويرضين - and they may be pleased| بما - with what| آتيتهن - you have given them -| كلهن - all of them.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - what| في - (is) in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وكان - And Allah is| الله - And Allah is| عليما - All-Knower,| حليما - Most Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 7 [49:11] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yaskhar qawmun min qawmin AAasa an yakoonookhayran minhum wala nisaon min nisa-in AAasaan yakunna khayran minhunna wala talmizoo anfusakum walatanabazoo bial-alqabi bi/sa al-ismualfusooqu baAAda al-eemani waman lam yatub faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يسخر قوم من قوم عسى أن يكونوا خيرا منهم ولا نساء من نساء عسى أن يكن خيرا منهن ولا تلمزوا أنفسكم ولا تنابزوا بالألقاب بئس الاسم الفسوق بعد الإيمان ومن لم يتب فأولئك هم الظالمون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَومٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِّن نِّسَاءٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ بِئْسَ الاِسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيْمَانِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Let) not| يسخر - ridicule| قوم - a people| من - [of]| قوم - (another) people,| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكونوا - they may be| خيرا - better| منهم - than them;| ولا - and (let) not| نساء - women| من - [of]| نساء - (other) women| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكن - they may be| خيرا - better| منهن - than them.| ولا - And (do) not| تلمزوا - insult| أنفسكم - yourselves| ولا - and (do) not| تنابزوا - call each other| بالألقاب - by nicknames.| بئس - Wretched is| الاسم - the name| الفسوق - (of) disobedience| بعد - after| الإيمان - the faith.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يتب - repent,| فأولئك - then those -| هم - they| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
