| 1 [7:88] | Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lanukhrijannaka ya shuAAaybu waallatheenaamanoo maAAaka min qaryatina aw lataAAoodunna feemillatina qala awa law kunna kariheena |  قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه لنخرجنك يا شعيب والذين آمنوا معك من قريتنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا قال أولو كنا كارهينقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| استكبروا - were arrogant| من - among| قومه - his people,| لنخرجنك - "We will surely drive you out| يا - O| شعيب - O Shuaib!| والذين - And those who| آمنوا - (have) believed| معك - with you| من - from| قريتنا - our city,| أو - or| لتعودن - you must return| في - to| ملتنا - our religion."| قال - He said,| أولو - "Even if| كنا - we are| كارهين - (the) ones who hate (it)?| | ||||||
| 2 [14:13] | Waqala allatheena kafaroolirusulihim lanukhrijannakum min ardina awlataAAoodunna fee millatina faawha ilayhim rabbuhumlanuhlikanna alththalimeena | وقال الذين كفروا لرسلهم لنخرجنكم من أرضنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا فأوحى إليهم ربهم لنهلكن الظالمين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّـكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا فَأَوْحَى إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| لرسلهم - to their Messengers,| لنخرجنكم - "Surely we will drive you out| من - of| أرضنا - our land| أو - or| لتعودن - surely you should return| في - to| ملتنا - our religion."| فأوحى - So inspired| إليهم - to them| ربهم - their Lord,| لنهلكن - "We will surely destroy| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
