| 1 [31:32] | Wa-itha ghashiyahum mawjun kaalththulalidaAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeenafalamma najjahum ila albarri faminhum muqtasidunwama yajhadu bi-ayatina illakullu khattarin kafoorin |  وإذا غشيهم موج كالظلل دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين فلما نجاهم إلى البر فمنهم مقتصد وما يجحد بآياتنا إلا كل ختار كفوروَإِذَا غَشِيَهُم مَّوْجٌ كَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ فَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍ كَفُورٍ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| غشيهم - covers them| موج - a wave| كالظلل - like canopies,| دعوا - they call| الله - Allah,| مخلصين - (being) sincere| له - to Him| الدين - (in) religion.| فلما - But when| نجاهم - He delivers them| إلى - to| البر - the land| فمنهم - then among them| مقتصد - (some are) moderate.| وما - And not| يجحد - deny| بآياتنا - Our Signs| إلا - except| كل - every| ختار - traitor| كفور - ungrateful.| | ||||||
| 2 [35:32] | Thumma awrathna alkitaba allatheenaistafayna min AAibadina faminhum thalimunlinafsihi waminhum muqtasidun waminhum sabiqun bialkhayratibi-ithni Allahi thalika huwa alfadlualkabeeru | ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله ذلك هو الفضل الكبير ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| أورثنا - We caused to inherit| الكتاب - the Book| الذين - those whom| اصطفينا - We have chosen| من - of| عبادنا - Our slaves;| فمنهم - and among them| ظالم - (is he) who wrongs| لنفسه - himself,| ومنهم - and among them| مقتصد - (is he who is) moderate,| ومنهم - and among them| سابق - (is he who is) foremost| بالخيرات - in good deeds| بإذن - by permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ذلك - That| هو - is| الفضل - the Bounty| الكبير - the great.| | ||||||
