| 1 [4:47] | Ya ayyuha allatheenaootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalnamusaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisawujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbarihaaw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna as-habaalssabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan |  يا أيها الذين أوتوا الكتاب آمنوا بما نزلنا مصدقا لما معكم من قبل أن نطمس وجوها فنردها على أدبارها أو نلعنهم كما لعنا أصحاب السبت وكان أمر الله مفعولايَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ آمِنُواْ بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللّهِ مَفْعُولاً | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| أوتوا - (have) been given| الكتاب - the Book,| آمنوا - believe| بما - in what| نزلنا - We (have) revealed| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what is| معكم - with you,| من - from| قبل - before| أن - [that]| نطمس - We efface| وجوها - faces| فنردها - and turn them| على - on| أدبارها - their backs| أو - or| نلعنهم - We curse them| كما - as| لعنا - We cursed| أصحاب - companions| السبت - (of) the Sabbath.| وكان - And is| أمر - (the) command| الله - (of) Allah| مفعولا - (always) executed.| | ||||||
| 2 [8:42] | Ith antum bialAAudwati alddunyawahum bialAAudwati alquswa waalrrakbuasfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum feealmeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahuamran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatinwayahya man hayya AAan bayyinatin wa-innaAllaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun | إذ أنتم بالعدوة الدنيا وهم بالعدوة القصوى والركب أسفل منكم ولو تواعدتم لاختلفتم في الميعاد ولكن ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا ليهلك من هلك عن بينة ويحيى من حي عن بينة وإن الله لسميع عليم إِذْ أَنتُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَى وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدتَّمْ لاَخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ وَلَـكِن لِّيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْراً كَانَ مَفْعُولاً لِّيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَى مَنْ حَيَّ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَإِنَّ اللّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| أنتم - you (were)| بالعدوة - on side of the valley,| الدنيا - the nearer| وهم - and they| بالعدوة - (were) on the side,| القصوى - the farther| والركب - and the caravan| أسفل - (was) lower| منكم - than you.| ولو - And if| تواعدتم - you (had) made an appointment| لاختلفتم - certainly you would have failed| في - in| الميعاد - the appointment.| ولكن - But| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - destined,| ليهلك - that (might be) destroyed| من - (those) who| هلك - (were to be) destroyed| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence| ويحيى - and (might) live| من - (those) who| حي - (were to) live| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence.| وإن - And indeed,| الله - Allah| لسميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:44] | Wa-ith yureekumoohum ithiiltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihimliyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan wa-ilaAllahi turjaAAu al-omooru | وإذ يريكموهم إذ التقيتم في أعينكم قليلا ويقللكم في أعينهم ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا وإلى الله ترجع الأمور وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلاً وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولاً وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يريكموهم - He showed them to you,| إذ - when| التقيتم - you met -| في - in| أعينكم - your eyes| قليلا - (as) few| ويقللكم - and He made you (appear) as few| في - in| أعينهم - their eyes| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah might accomplish| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - (already) destined.| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| ترجع - return| الأمور - (all) the matters.| | ||||||
| 4 [17:5] | Fa-itha jaa waAAdu oolahumabaAAathna AAalaykum AAibadan lana oleeba/sin shadeedin fajasoo khilala alddiyariwakana waAAdan mafAAoolan | فإذا جاء وعد أولاهما بعثنا عليكم عبادا لنا أولي بأس شديد فجاسوا خلال الديار وكان وعدا مفعولا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ أُولاَهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَّنَا أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُواْ خِلاَلَ الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَّفْعُولاً | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - So when| جاء - came| وعد - (the) promise| أولاهما - (for) the first of the two,| بعثنا - We raised| عليكم - against you| عبادا - servants| لنا - of Ours| أولي - those of great military might| بأس - those of great military might| شديد - those of great military might| فجاسوا - and they entered| خلال - the inner most part| الديار - (of) the homes,| وكان - and (it) was| وعدا - a promise| مفعولا - fulfilled.| | ||||||
| 5 [33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تقول - you said| للذي - to the one,| أنعم - Allah bestowed favor| الله - Allah bestowed favor| عليه - on him| وأنعمت - and you bestowed favor| عليه - on him,| أمسك - "Keep| عليك - to yourself| زوجك - your wife| واتق - and fear| الله - Allah."| وتخفي - But you concealed| في - within| نفسك - yourself| ما - what| الله - Allah| مبديه - (was to) disclose.| وتخشى - And you fear| الناس - the people,| والله - while Allah| أحق - has more right| أن - that| تخشاه - you (should) fear Him.| فلما - So when| قضى - ended| زيد - Zaid| منها - from her| وطرا - necessary (formalities),| زوجناكها - We married her to you| لكي - so that| لا - not| يكون - there be| على - on| المؤمنين - the believers| حرج - any discomfort| في - concerning| أزواج - the wives| أدعيائهم - (of) their adopted sons| إذا - when| قضوا - they have ended| منهن - from them| وطرا - necessary (formalities).| وكان - And is| أمر - (the) Command| الله - (of) Allah| مفعولا - accomplished.| | ||||||
| 6 [73:18] | Alssamao munfatirunbihi kana waAAduhu mafAAoolan | السماء منفطر به كان وعده مفعولا السَّمَاءُ مُنفَطِرٌ بِهِ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Words | |السماء - The heaven| منفطر - (will) break apart| به - therefrom,| كان - is| وعده - His Promise| مفعولا - to be fulfilled.| | ||||||
