| 1 [6:63] | Qul man yunajjeekum min thulumatialbarri waalbahri tadAAoonahu tadarruAAanwakhufyatan la-in anjana min hathihilanakoonanna mina alshshakireena |  قل من ينجيكم من ظلمات البر والبحر تدعونه تضرعا وخفية لئن أنجانا من هذه لنكونن من الشاكرينقُلْ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ تَدْعُونَهُ تَضَرُّعاً وَخُفْيَةً لَّئِنْ أَنْجَانَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| ينجيكم - saves you| من - from| ظلمات - darkness[es]| البر - (of) the land| والبحر - and the sea,| تدعونه - you call Him| تضرعا - humbly| وخفية - and secretly,| لئن - "If| أنجانا - He saves us| من - from| هذه - this,| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - from| الشاكرين - the grateful ones."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:23] | Qala rabbana thalamnaanfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamnalanakoonanna mina alkhasireena | قالا ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرين قَالاَ رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالا - Both of them said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| ظلمنا - we have wronged| أنفسنا - ourselves,| وإن - and if| لم - not| تغفر - You forgive| لنا - [for] us| وترحمنا - and have mercy (on) us,| لنكونن - surely, we will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 3 [7:149] | Walamma suqita fee aydeehimwaraaw annahum qad dalloo qaloo la-in lam yarhamnarabbuna wayaghfir lana lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena | ولما سقط في أيديهم ورأوا أنهم قد ضلوا قالوا لئن لم يرحمنا ربنا ويغفر لنا لنكونن من الخاسرين وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فَي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْاْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| سقط - (it was made to) fall| في - into| أيديهم - their hands| ورأوا - and they saw| أنهم - that they| قد - (had) indeed| ضلوا - gone astray,| قالوا - they said,| لئن - "If| لم - not| يرحمنا - has Mercy on us,| ربنا - Our Lord,| ويغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us,| لنكونن - we will surely be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:189] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum min nafsinwahidatin wajaAAala minha zawjaha liyaskunailayha falamma taghashshaha hamalathamlan khafeefan famarrat bihi falamma athqalatdaAAawa Allaha rabbahuma la-in ataytanasalihan lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena | هو الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة وجعل منها زوجها ليسكن إليها فلما تغشاها حملت حملا خفيفا فمرت به فلما أثقلت دعوا الله ربهما لئن آتيتنا صالحا لنكونن من الشاكرين هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّاهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلاً خَفِيفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِ فَلَمَّا أَثْقَلَت دَّعَوَا اللّهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ آتَيْتَنَا صَالِحاً لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| نفس - a soul,| واحدة - single| وجعل - and made| منها - from it| زوجها - its mate| ليسكن - that he might live| إليها - with her.| فلما - And when| تغشاها - he covers her,| حملت - she carries| حملا - a burden| خفيفا - light| فمرت - and continues| به - with it.| فلما - But when| أثقلت - she grows heavy,| دعوا - they both invoke| الله - Allah,| ربهما - their Lord,| لئن - "If| آتيتنا - You give us| صالحا - a righteous (child),| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - among| الشاكرين - the thankful."| | ||||||
| 5 [10:22] | Huwa allathee yusayyirukum feealbarri waalbahri hatta ithakuntum fee alfulki wajarayna bihim bireehin tayyibatinwafarihoo biha jaat-ha reehunAAasifun wajaahumu almawju min kulli makaninwathannoo annahum oheeta bihimdaAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeenala-in anjaytana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena | هو الذي يسيركم في البر والبحر حتى إذا كنتم في الفلك وجرين بهم بريح طيبة وفرحوا بها جاءتها ريح عاصف وجاءهم الموج من كل مكان وظنوا أنهم أحيط بهم دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين لئن أنجيتنا من هذه لنكونن من الشاكرين هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُواْ بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُاْ اللّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ لَنَكُونَنِّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يسيركم - enables you to travel| في - in| البر - the land| والبحر - and the sea,| حتى - until,| إذا - when| كنتم - you are| في - in| الفلك - the ships| وجرين - and they sail| بهم - with them| بريح - with a wind| طيبة - good,| وفرحوا - and they rejoice| بها - therein| جاءتها - comes to it| ريح - a wind| عاصف - stormy,| وجاءهم - and comes to them| الموج - the waves| من - from| كل - every| مكان - place,| وظنوا - and they assume| أنهم - that they| أحيط - are surrounded| بهم - with them.| دعوا - They call| الله - Allah| مخلصين - sincerely| له - to Him| الدين - (in) the religion,| لئن - (saying), "If| أنجيتنا - You save us| من - from| هذه - this,| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - among| الشاكرين - the thankful."| | ||||||
