| 1 [9:66] | La taAAtathiroo qad kafartumbaAAda eemanikum in naAAfu AAan ta-ifatin minkumnuAAaththib ta-ifatan bi-annahum kanoomujrimeena |  لا تعتذروا قد كفرتم بعد إيمانكم إن نعف عن طائفة منكم نعذب طائفة بأنهم كانوا مجرمينلاَ تَعْتَذِرُواْ قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ إِن نَّعْفُ عَن طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَآئِفَةً بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ مُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Do) not| تعتذروا - make excuse;| قد - verily,| كفرتم - you have disbelieved| بعد - after| إيمانكم - your belief.| إن - If| نعف - We pardon| عن - [on]| طائفة - a party| منكم - of you| نعذب - We will punish| طائفة - a party,| بأنهم - because they| كانوا - were| مجرمين - criminals.| | ||||||
| 2 [14:7] | Wa-ith taaththana rabbukumla-in shakartum laazeedannakum wala-in kafartum inna AAathabeelashadeedun | وإذ تأذن ربكم لئن شكرتم لأزيدنكم ولئن كفرتم إن عذابي لشديد وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تأذن - proclaimed| ربكم - your Lord,| لئن - "If| شكرتم - you are thankful,| لأزيدنكم - surely I will increase you;| ولئن - but if| كفرتم - you are ungrateful| إن - indeed,| عذابي - My punishment| لشديد - (is) surely severe."| | ||||||
| 3 [17:69] | Am amintum an yuAAeedakum feehi taratanokhra fayursila AAalaykum qasifan mina alrreehifayughriqakum bima kafartum thumma la tajidoo lakumAAalayna bihi tabeeAAan | أم أمنتم أن يعيدكم فيه تارة أخرى فيرسل عليكم قاصفا من الريح فيغرقكم بما كفرتم ثم لا تجدوا لكم علينا به تبيعا أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ أَن يُعِيدَكُمْ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخْرَى فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفا مِّنَ الرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِ تَبِيعًا | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| أمنتم - do you feel secure| أن - that (not)| يعيدكم - He will send you back| فيه - into it| تارة - another time,| أخرى - another time,| فيرسل - and send| عليكم - upon you| قاصفا - a hurricane| من - of| الريح - the wind,| فيغرقكم - and drown you| بما - because| كفرتم - you disbelieved?| ثم - Then| لا - not| تجدوا - you will find| لكم - for you| علينا - against Us| به - therein| تبيعا - an avenger?| | ||||||
| 4 [40:12] | Thalikum bi-annahu ithaduAAiya Allahu wahdahu kafartum wa-in yushrak bihitu/minoo faalhukmu lillahi alAAaliyyialkabeeri | ذلكم بأنه إذا دعي الله وحده كفرتم وإن يشرك به تؤمنوا فالحكم لله العلي الكبير ذَلِكُم بِأَنَّهُ إِذَا دُعِيَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ كَفَرْتُمْ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِ تُؤْمِنُوا فَالْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْكَبِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |ذلكم - "That| بأنه - (is) because,| إذا - when| دعي - Allah was invoked| الله - Allah was invoked| وحده - Alone| كفرتم - you disbelieved;| وإن - but if| يشرك - (others) were associated| به - with Him,| تؤمنوا - you believed.| فالحكم - So the judgment| لله - (is) with Allah,| العلي - the Most High,| الكبير - the Most Great."| | ||||||
| 5 [41:52] | Qul araaytum in kana min AAindi Allahithumma kafartum bihi man adallu mimman huwa fee shiqaqinbaAAeedin | قل أرأيتم إن كان من عند الله ثم كفرتم به من أضل ممن هو في شقاق بعيد قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أرأيتم - "You see -| إن - if| كان - it is| من - from| عند - from| الله - Allah| ثم - then| كفرتم - you disbelieve| به - in it,| من - who| أضل - (is) more astray| ممن - than (one) who -| هو - he| في - (is) in| شقاق - opposition| بعيد - far?"| | ||||||
| 6 [73:17] | Fakayfa tattaqoona in kafartum yawmanyajAAalu alwildana sheeban | فكيف تتقون إن كفرتم يوما يجعل الولدان شيبا فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًا يَجْعَلُ الْوِلْدَانَ شِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - Then how| تتقون - will you guard yourselves,| إن - if| كفرتم - you disbelieve,| يوما - a Day| يجعل - (that) will make| الولدان - the children| شيبا - gray-haired?| | ||||||
