| 1 [6:111] | Walaw annana nazzalnailayhimu almala-ikata wakallamahumu almawta wahasharnaAAalayhim kulla shay-in qubulan ma kanoo liyu/minooilla an yashaa Allahu walakinnaaktharahum yajhaloona |  ولو أننا نزلنا إليهم الملائكة وكلمهم الموتى وحشرنا عليهم كل شيء قبلا ما كانوا ليؤمنوا إلا أن يشاء الله ولكن أكثرهم يجهلونوَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ الْمَوْتَى وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ قُبُلاً مَّا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And (even) if| أننا - [that] We (had)| نزلنا - [We] sent down| إليهم - to them| الملائكة - the Angels| وكلمهم - and spoken to them| الموتى - the dead| وحشرنا - and We gathered| عليهم - before them| كل - every| شيء - thing| قبلا - face to face,| ما - not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| إلا - unless| أن - [that]| يشاء - wills| الله - Allah.| ولكن - But| أكثرهم - most of them| يجهلون - (are) ignorant.| | ||||||
| 2 [18:55] | Wama manaAAa alnnasa anyu/minoo ith jaahumu alhuda wayastaghfiroorabbahum illa an ta/tiyahum sunnatu al-awwaleena awya/tiyahumu alAAathabu qubulan | وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى ويستغفروا ربهم إلا أن تأتيهم سنة الأولين أو يأتيهم العذاب قبلا وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَى وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلاً | |||||
| Words | |وما - And nothing| منع - prevents| الناس - men| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they believe| إذ - when| جاءهم - has come to them| الهدى - the guidance| ويستغفروا - and they ask forgiveness| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| إلا - except| أن - that| تأتيهم - comes to them| سنة - (the) way| الأولين - (of) the former (people)| أو - or| يأتيهم - comes to them| العذاب - the punishment| قبلا - before (them)?| | ||||||
