| 1 [5:109] | Yawma yajmaAAu Allahu alrrusulafayaqoolu matha ojibtum qaloo la AAilma lanainnaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi |  يوم يجمع الله الرسل فيقول ماذا أجبتم قالوا لا علم لنا إنك أنت علام الغيوبيَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُواْ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) day| يجمع - will (be) gathered| الله - (by) Allah| الرسل - the Messengers| فيقول - and He will say,| ماذا - "What| أجبتم - was (the) response you received?"| قالوا - They said,| لا - "(There is) no| علم - knowledge| لنا - for us.| إنك - Indeed You,| أنت - You| علام - (are the) Knower| الغيوب - (of) the unseen."| | ||||||
| 2 [14:44] | Waanthiri alnnasa yawmaya/teehimu alAAathabu fayaqoolu allatheena thalamoorabbana akhkhirna ila ajalin qareebin nujibdaAAwataka wanattabiAAi alrrusula awa lam takoonooaqsamtum min qablu ma lakum min zawalin | وأنذر الناس يوم يأتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا أخرنا إلى أجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل أولم تكونوا أقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال وَأَنذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأنذر - And warn| الناس - the mankind| يوم - (of) a Day| يأتيهم - (when) will come to them| العذاب - the punishment,| فيقول - then will say| الذين - those who| ظلموا - did wrong,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أخرنا - Respite us| إلى - for| أجل - a term| قريب - short;| نجب - we will answer| دعوتك - Your call| ونتبع - and we will follow| الرسل - the Messengers."| أولم - "Had not| تكونوا - you| أقسمتم - sworn| من - before| قبل - before| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| زوال - end?| | ||||||
| 3 [25:17] | Wayawma yahshuruhum wamayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi fayaqoolu aantum adlaltumAAibadee haola-i am hum dalloo alssabeela | ويوم يحشرهم وما يعبدون من دون الله فيقول أأنتم أضللتم عبادي هؤلاء أم هم ضلوا السبيل وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَؤُلَاءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them| وما - and what| يعبدون - they worship| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| فيقول - and He will say,| أأنتم - "Did you| أضللتم - [you] mislead| عبادي - My slaves| هؤلاء - these| أم - or| هم - they| ضلوا - went astray| السبيل - (from) the way?"| | ||||||
| 4 [28:62] | Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu aynashuraka-iya allatheena kuntum tazAAumoona | ويوم يناديهم فيقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تزعمون وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يناديهم - He will call them| فيقول - and say,| أين - "Where,| شركائي - (are) My partners| الذين - whom| كنتم - you used (to)| تزعمون - claim?"| | ||||||
| 5 [28:65] | Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu mathaajabtumu almursaleena | ويوم يناديهم فيقول ماذا أجبتم المرسلين وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يناديهم - He will call them| فيقول - and say,| ماذا - "What| أجبتم - did you answer| المرسلين - the Messengers?"| | ||||||
| 6 [28:74] | Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu aynashuraka-iya allatheena kuntum tazAAumoona | ويوم يناديهم فيقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تزعمون وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يناديهم - He will call them| فيقول - and say,| أين - "Where| شركائي - (are) My partners| الذين - whom| كنتم - you used (to)| تزعمون - claim?"| | ||||||
| 7 [40:47] | Wa-ith yatahajjoona fee alnnarifayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheenaistakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antummughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari | وإذ يتحاجون في النار فيقول الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا نصيبا من النار وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يتحاجون - they will dispute| في - in| النار - the Fire,| فيقول - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| لكم - for you| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you| مغنون - avert| عنا - from us| نصيبا - a portion| من - of| النار - the Fire?"| | ||||||
| 8 [46:17] | Waallathee qala liwalidayhioffin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalatialquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allahawaylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqunfayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena | والذي قال لوالديه أف لكما أتعدانني أن أخرج وقد خلت القرون من قبلي وهما يستغيثان الله ويلك آمن إن وعد الله حق فيقول ما هذا إلا أساطير الأولين وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذي - But the one who| قال - says| لوالديه - to his parents,| أف - "Uff| لكما - to both of you!| أتعدانني - Do you promise me| أن - that| أخرج - I will be brought forth,| وقد - and have already passed away| خلت - and have already passed away| القرون - the generations| من - before me?"| قبلي - before me?"| وهما - And they both| يستغيثان - seek help| الله - (of) Allah.| ويلك - "Woe to you!| آمن - Believe!| إن - Indeed,| وعد - (the) Promise| الله - (of) Allah| حق - (is) true."| فيقول - But he says,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| أساطير - (the) stories| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| | ||||||
| 9 [63:10] | Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakummin qabli an ya/tiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbilawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqawaakun mina alssaliheena | وأنفقوا من ما رزقناكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب لولا أخرتني إلى أجل قريب فأصدق وأكن من الصالحين وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنفقوا - And spend| من - from| ما - what| رزقناكم - We have provided you| من - from| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يأتي - comes| أحدكم - (to) one of you| الموت - the death| فيقول - and he says,| رب - "My Lord!| لولا - Why not| أخرتني - You delay me| إلى - for| أجل - a term| قريب - near| فأصدق - so I would give charity| وأكن - and be| من - among| الصالحين - the righteous."| | ||||||
| 10 [69:19] | Faamma man ootiya kitabahubiyameenihi fayaqoolu haomu iqraoo kitabiyah | فأما من أوتي كتابه بيمينه فيقول هاؤم اقرءوا كتابيه فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمُ اقْرَؤُوا كِتَابِيَهْ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| من - (him) who| أوتي - is given| كتابه - his record| بيمينه - in his right hand| فيقول - will say,| هاؤم - "Here,| اقرءوا - read| كتابيه - my record!| | ||||||
| 11 [69:25] | Waamma man ootiya kitabahubishimalihi fayaqoolu ya laytanee lam oota kitabiyah | وأما من أوتي كتابه بشماله فيقول يا ليتني لم أوت كتابيه وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ | |||||
| Words | |وأما - But as for| من - (him) who| أوتي - is given| كتابه - his record| بشماله - in his left hand| فيقول - will say,| يا - O| ليتني - "O! I wish| لم - not| أوت - I had been given| كتابيه - my record| | ||||||
| 12 [89:15] | Faamma al-insanu itha maibtalahu rabbuhu faakramahu wanaAAAAamahu fayaqoolu rabbeeakramani | فأما الإنسان إذا ما ابتلاه ربه فأكرمه ونعمه فيقول ربي أكرمن فَأَمَّا الْإِنسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - And as for| الإنسان - man,| إذا - when| ما - does| ابتلاه - try him| ربه - his Lord| فأكرمه - and is generous to him| ونعمه - and favors him,| فيقول - he says,| ربي - "My Lord| أكرمن - has honored me."| | ||||||
| 13 [89:16] | Waamma itha ma ibtalahufaqadara AAalayhi rizqahu fayaqoolu rabbee ahanani | وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدر عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ | |||||
| Words | |وأما - But| إذا - when| ما - does| ابتلاه - He try him| فقدر - and restricts| عليه - for him| رزقه - his provision,| فيقول - then he says| ربي - "My Lord| أهانن - (has) humiliated me."| | ||||||
