بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

[38:3]		Kam ahlakna min qablihim min qarninfanadaw walata heena manasin كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من قرن فنادوا ولات حين مناص
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ
 Words|كم - How many| أهلكنا - We destroyed| من - before them| قبلهم - before them| من - of| قرن - a generation,| فنادوا - then they called out| ولات - when there (was) no longer| حين - time| مناص - (for) escape.|

[54:29]		Fanadaw sahibahum fataAAatafaAAaqara فنادوا صاحبهم فتعاطى فعقر
فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَى فَعَقَرَ
 Words|فنادوا - But they called| صاحبهم - their companion| فتعاطى - and he took| فعقر - and hamstrung.|
