| 1 [2:10] | Fee quloobihim maradun fazadahumuAllahu maradan walahum AAathabun aleemun bimakanoo yakthiboona |  في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب أليم بما كانوا يكذبونفِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |في - In| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease,| فزادهم - so has increased them| الله - Allah| مرضا - (in) disease;| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكذبون - [they] lie.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:173] | Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasuinna alnnasa qad jamaAAoo lakum faikhshawhumfazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbunaAllahu waniAAma alwakeelu | الذين قال لهم الناس إن الناس قد جمعوا لكم فاخشوهم فزادهم إيمانا وقالوا حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قال - said| لهم - to them| الناس - [the people],| إن - "Indeed| الناس - the people| قد - (have) certainly| جمعوا - gathered| لكم - against you,| فاخشوهم - so fear them."| فزادهم - But it increased them| إيمانا - (in) faith| وقالوا - and they said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| الله - (is) Allah| ونعم - and (He is the) best| الوكيل - [the] Disposer of affairs."| | ||||||
