| 1 [6:44] | Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroobihi fatahna AAalayhim abwaba kulli shay-in hattaitha farihoo bima ootoo akhathnahumbaghtatan fa-itha hum mublisoona |  فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء حتى إذا فرحوا بما أوتوا أخذناهم بغتة فإذا هم مبلسونفَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَا أُوتُواْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| نسوا - they forgot| ما - what| ذكروا - they were reminded| به - of [it],| فتحنا - We opened| عليهم - on them| أبواب - gates| كل - (of) every| شيء - thing,| حتى - until| إذا - when| فرحوا - they rejoiced| بما - in what| أوتوا - they were given,| أخذناهم - We seized them| بغتة - suddenly| فإذا - and then| هم - they| مبلسون - (were) dumbfounded.| | ||||||
| 2 [30:36] | Waitha athaqna alnnasarahmatan farihoo biha wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun bima qaddamat aydeehim itha hum yaqnatoona | وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة فرحوا بها وإن تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت أيديهم إذا هم يقنطون وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أذقنا - We cause people to taste| الناس - We cause people to taste| رحمة - mercy,| فرحوا - they rejoice| بها - therein.| وإن - But if| تصبهم - afflicts them| سيئة - an evil| بما - for what| قدمت - have sent forth| أيديهم - their hands,| إذا - behold!| هم - They| يقنطون - despair.| | ||||||
| 3 [40:83] | Falamma jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifarihoo bima AAindahum mina alAAilmi wahaqabihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرِحُوا بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| فرحوا - they rejoiced| بما - in what| عندهم - they had| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| وحاق - and enveloped| بهم - them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| | ||||||
