| 1 [6:6] | Alam yaraw kam ahlakna min qablihimmin qarnin makkannahum fee al-ardi ma lamnumakkin lakum waarsalna alssamaa AAalayhimmidraran wajaAAalna al-anhara tajree min tahtihimfaahlaknahum bithunoobihim waansha/na minbaAAdihim qarnan akhareena |  ألم يروا كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من قرن مكناهم في الأرض ما لم نمكن لكم وأرسلنا السماء عليهم مدرارا وجعلنا الأنهار تجري من تحتهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأنشأنا من بعدهم قرنا آخرينأَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ | |||||

| 2 [8:54] | Kada/bi ali firAAawna waallatheenamin qablihim kaththaboo bi-ayati rabbihimfaahlaknahum bithunoobihim waaghraqna alafirAAawna wakullun kanoo thalimeena | كدأب آل فرعون والذين من قبلهم كذبوا بآيات ربهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأغرقنا آل فرعون وكل كانوا ظالمين كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُواْ بآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَونَ وَكُلٌّ كَانُواْ ظَالِمِينَ | |||||

| 3 [26:139] | Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahuminna fee thalika laayatan wama kanaaktharuhum mu/mineena | فكذبوه فأهلكناهم إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - So they denied him,| فأهلكناهم - then We destroyed them.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely, is a sign,| وما - but not| كان - are| أكثرهم - most of them| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
