| 1 [7:136] | Faintaqamna minhum faaghraqnahumfee alyammi bi-annahum kaththaboo bi-ayatinawakanoo AAanha ghafileena |  فانتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم في اليم بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلينفَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فانتقمنا - So We took retribution| منهم - from them| فأغرقناهم - and We drowned them| في - in| اليم - the sea| بأنهم - because they| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وكانوا - and they were| عنها - to them| غافلين - heedless.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:77] | Wanasarnahu mina alqawmi allatheenakaththaboo bi-ayatina innahum kanooqawma saw-in faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena | ونصرناه من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فأغرقناهم أجمعين وَنَصَرْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ونصرناه - And We helped him| من - from| القوم - the people| الذين - who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| قوم - a people| سوء - evil,| فأغرقناهم - so We drowned them| أجمعين - all.| | ||||||
| 3 [43:55] | Falamma asafoonaintaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena | فلما آسفونا انتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم أجمعين فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| آسفونا - they angered Us,| انتقمنا - We took retribution| منهم - from them,| فأغرقناهم - and We drowned them| أجمعين - all.| | ||||||
