| 1 [2:90] | Bi/sama ishtaraw bihi anfusahum anyakfuroo bima anzala Allahu baghyan an yunazzilaAllahu min fadlihi AAala man yashaomin AAibadihi fabaoo bighadabin AAalaghadabin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun |  بئسما اشتروا به أنفسهم أن يكفروا بما أنزل الله بغيا أن ينزل الله من فضله على من يشاء من عباده فباءوا بغضب على غضب وللكافرين عذاب مهينبِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَنْ يَّكْفُرُواْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللّهُ بَغْياً أَنْ يُّنَزِّلُ اللّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ عَلَى مَنْ يَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ فَبَآؤُواْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلَى غَضَبٍ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |بئسما - Evil (is) that| اشتروا - (for) which they have sold| به - with| أنفسهم - themselves,| أن - that| يكفروا - they disbelieve| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| بغيا - grudging| أن - that| ينزل - sends down| الله - Allah| من - of| فضله - His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - from| عباده - His servants.| فباءوا - So they have drawn (on themselves)| بغضب - wrath| على - upon| غضب - wrath.| وللكافرين - And for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:152] | Inna allatheena ittakhathooalAAijla sayanaluhum ghadabun min rabbihim wathillatunfee alhayati alddunya wakathalikanajzee almuftareena | إن الذين اتخذوا العجل سينالهم غضب من ربهم وذلة في الحياة الدنيا وكذلك نجزي المفترين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ الْعِجْلَ سَيَنَالُهُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَذِلَّةٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُفْتَرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - took| العجل - the calf,| سينالهم - will reach them| غضب - wrath| من - from| ربهم - their Lord,| وذلة - and humiliation| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| المفترين - the ones who invent (falsehood).| | ||||||
| 3 [16:106] | Man kafara biAllahi minbaAAdi eemanihi illa man okriha waqalbuhu mutma-innunbial-eemani walakin man sharaha bialkufrisadran faAAalayhim ghadabun mina Allahiwalahum AAathabun AAatheemun | من كفر بالله من بعد إيمانه إلا من أكره وقلبه مطمئن بالإيمان ولكن من شرح بالكفر صدرا فعليهم غضب من الله ولهم عذاب عظيم مَن كَفَرَ بِاللّهِ مِن بَعْدِ إيمَانِهِ إِلاَّ مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَـكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| كفر - disbelieves| بالله - in Allah| من - after| بعد - after| إيمانه - his belief,| إلا - except| من - (one) who| أكره - is forced| وقلبه - while his heart| مطمئن - (is) content| بالإيمان - with the faith.| ولكن - But| من - (one) who| شرح - opens| بالكفر - to disbelief| صدرا - (his) breast,| فعليهم - then upon them| غضب - (is) a wrath| من - of| الله - Allah| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 4 [20:86] | FarajaAAa moosa ila qawmihighadbana asifan qala ya qawmi alamyaAAidkum rabbukum waAAdan hasanan afatalaAAalaykumu alAAahdu am aradtum an yahilla AAalaykum ghadabunmin rabbikum faakhlaftum mawAAidee | فرجع موسى إلى قومه غضبان أسفا قال يا قوم ألم يعدكم ربكم وعدا حسنا أفطال عليكم العهد أم أردتم أن يحل عليكم غضب من ربكم فأخلفتم موعدي فَرَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِي | |||||
| Words | |فرجع - Then Musa returned| موسى - Then Musa returned| إلى - to| قومه - his people| غضبان - angry| أسفا - (and) sorrowful.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| ألم - Did not| يعدكم - promise you| ربكم - your Lord| وعدا - a promise| حسنا - good?| أفطال - Then, did seem long| عليكم - to you| العهد - the promise,| أم - or| أردتم - did you desire| أن - that| يحل - descend| عليكم - upon you| غضب - (the) Anger| من - of| ربكم - your Lord,| فأخلفتم - so you broke| موعدي - (the) promise to me?"| | ||||||
| 5 [24:9] | Waalkhamisata anna ghadabaAllahi AAalayha in kana mina alssadiqeena | والخامسة أن غضب الله عليها إن كان من الصادقين وَالْخَامِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا إِن كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والخامسة - And the fifth,| أن - that| غضب - the wrath of Allah| الله - the wrath of Allah| عليها - (be) upon her| إن - if| كان - he is| من - of| الصادقين - the truthful.| | ||||||
| 6 [42:16] | Waallatheena yuhajjoonafee Allahi min baAAdi ma istujeeba lahu hujjatuhumdahidatun AAinda rabbihim waAAalayhim ghadabunwalahum AAathabun shadeedun | والذين يحاجون في الله من بعد ما استجيب له حجتهم داحضة عند ربهم وعليهم غضب ولهم عذاب شديد وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يحاجون - argue| في - concerning| الله - Allah| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| استجيب - response has been made to Him,| له - response has been made to Him,| حجتهم - their argument| داحضة - (is) invalid| عند - with| ربهم - their Lord,| وعليهم - and upon them| غضب - (is) wrath,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| شديد - severe.| | ||||||
| 7 [58:14] | Alam tara ila allatheenatawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu AAalayhim mahum minkum wala minhum wayahlifoona AAalaalkathibi wahum yaAAlamoona | ألم تر إلى الذين تولوا قوما غضب الله عليهم ما هم منكم ولا منهم ويحلفون على الكذب وهم يعلمون أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مَّا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَا مِنْهُمْ وَيَحْلِفُونَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| تولوا - take as allies| قوما - a people,| غضب - wrath| الله - (of) Allah| عليهم - (is) upon them?| ما - They (are) not| هم - They (are) not| منكم - of you| ولا - and not| منهم - of them,| ويحلفون - and they swear| على - to| الكذب - the lie| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 8 [60:13] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tatawallaw qawman ghadiba AllahuAAalayhim qad ya-isoo mina al-akhirati kama ya-isaalkuffaru min as-habi alquboori | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتولوا قوما غضب الله عليهم قد يئسوا من الآخرة كما يئس الكفار من أصحاب القبور يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْقُبُورِ | |||||
