| 1 [7:32] | Qul man harrama zeenata Allahiallatee akhraja liAAibadihi waalttayyibatimina alrrizqi qul hiya lillatheena amanoofee alhayati alddunya khalisatanyawma alqiyamati kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAlamoona |  قل من حرم زينة الله التي أخرج لعباده والطيبات من الرزق قل هي للذين آمنوا في الحياة الدنيا خالصة يوم القيامة كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يعلمونقُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ زِينَةَ اللّهِ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَ لِعِبَادِهِ وَالْطَّيِّبَاتِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ قُلْ هِيَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا خَالِصَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| حرم - has forbidden| زينة - (the) adornment| الله - (from) Allah| التي - which| أخرج - He has brought forth| لعباده - for His slaves,| والطيبات - and the pure things| من - of| الرزق - sustenance?"| قل - Say,| هي - "They| للذين - (are) for those who| آمنوا - believe| في - during| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| خالصة - exclusively (for them)| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| كذلك - Thus| نفصل - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for (the) people| يعلمون - who know."| | ||||||
| 2 [10:88] | Waqala moosa rabbanainnaka atayta firAAawna wamalaahu zeenatan waamwalanfee alhayati alddunya rabbanaliyudilloo AAan sabeelika rabbana itmis AAalaamwalihim waoshdud AAala quloobihim falayu/minoo hatta yarawoo alAAathaba al-aleema | وقال موسى ربنا إنك آتيت فرعون وملأه زينة وأموالا في الحياة الدنيا ربنا ليضلوا عن سبيلك ربنا اطمس على أموالهم واشدد على قلوبهم فلا يؤمنوا حتى يروا العذاب الأليم وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالاً فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُواْ حَتَّى يَرَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And Musa said,| موسى - And Musa said,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| إنك - Indeed, You| آتيت - have given| فرعون - Firaun| وملأه - and his chiefs| زينة - splendor| وأموالا - and wealth| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ليضلوا - That they may lead astray| عن - from| سبيلك - Your way.| ربنا - Our Lord!| اطمس - Destroy| على - [on]| أموالهم - their wealth| واشدد - and harden| على - [on]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فلا - so (that) not| يؤمنوا - they believe| حتى - until| يروا - they see| العذاب - the punishment -| الأليم - the painful."| | ||||||
| 3 [18:7] | Inna jaAAalna ma AAalaal-ardi zeenatan laha linabluwahum ayyuhum ahsanuAAamalan | إنا جعلنا ما على الأرض زينة لها لنبلوهم أيهم أحسن عملا إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| جعلنا - We have made| ما - what| على - (is) on| الأرض - the earth| زينة - adornment| لها - for it,| لنبلوهم - that We may test [them]| أيهم - which of them| أحسن - (is) best| عملا - (in) deed.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:28] | Waisbir nafsaka maAAa allatheenayadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyiyureedoona wajhahu wala taAAdu AAaynaka AAanhumtureedu zeenata alhayati alddunya walatutiAA man aghfalna qalbahu AAan thikrinawaittabaAAa hawahu wakana amruhu furutan | واصبر نفسك مع الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ولا تعد عيناك عنهم تريد زينة الحياة الدنيا ولا تطع من أغفلنا قلبه عن ذكرنا واتبع هواه وكان أمره فرطا وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَلاَ تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلاَ تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ فُرُطًا | |||||
| Words | |واصبر - And be patient,| نفسك - yourself,| مع - with| الذين - those who| يدعون - call| ربهم - their Lord| بالغداة - in the morning| والعشي - and the evening| يريدون - desiring| وجهه - His Face.| ولا - And (let) not| تعد - pass beyond| عيناك - your eyes| عنهم - over them,| تريد - desiring| زينة - adornment| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ولا - and (do) not| تطع - obey| من - whom| أغفلنا - We have made heedless| قلبه - his heart| عن - of| ذكرنا - Our remembrance,| واتبع - and follows| هواه - his desires| وكان - and is| أمره - his affair| فرطا - (in) excess.| | ||||||
| 5 [18:46] | Almalu waalbanoona zeenatu alhayatialddunya waalbaqiyatu alssalihatukhayrun AAinda rabbika thawaban wakhayrun amalan | المال والبنون زينة الحياة الدنيا والباقيات الصالحات خير عند ربك ثوابا وخير أملا الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ أَمَلاً | |||||
| Words | |المال - The wealth| والبنون - and children| زينة - (are) adornment| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| والباقيات - But the enduring| الصالحات - good deeds| خير - (are) better| عند - near| ربك - your Lord| ثوابا - (for) reward| وخير - and better| أملا - (for) hope.| | ||||||
| 6 [20:87] | Qaloo ma akhlafnamawAAidaka bimalkina walakinna hummilnaawzaran min zeenati alqawmi faqathafnahafakathalika alqa alssamiriyyu | قالوا ما أخلفنا موعدك بملكنا ولكنا حملنا أوزارا من زينة القوم فقذفناها فكذلك ألقى السامري قَالُوا مَا أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَا أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَاهَا فَكَذَلِكَ أَلْقَى السَّامِرِيُّ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ما - "Not| أخلفنا - we broke| موعدك - promise to you| بملكنا - by our will,| ولكنا - but we| حملنا - [we] were made to carry| أوزارا - burdens| من - from| زينة - ornaments| القوم - (of) the people,| فقذفناها - so we threw them| فكذلك - and thus| ألقى - threw| السامري - the Samiri."| | ||||||
