| 1 [9:129] | Fa-in tawallaw faqul hasbiya Allahula ilaha illa huwa AAalayhi tawakkaltuwahuwa rabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi |  فإن تولوا فقل حسبي الله لا إله إلا هو عليه توكلت وهو رب العرش العظيمفَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - But if| تولوا - they turn away,| فقل - then say,| حسبي - "Sufficient for me| الله - (is) Allah.| لا - (There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him.| عليه - On Him| توكلت - I put my trust.| وهو - And He| رب - (is the) Lord| العرش - (of) the Throne,| العظيم - the Great."| | ||||||
| 2 [39:38] | Wala-in saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda layaqoolunna Allahu qul afaraaytumma tadAAoona min dooni Allahi in aradaniyaAllahu bidurrin hal hunna kashifatu durrihiaw aradanee birahmatin hal hunna mumsikaturahmatihi qul hasbiya Allahu AAalayhiyatawakkalu almutawakkiloona | ولئن سألتهم من خلق السماوات والأرض ليقولن الله قل أفرأيتم ما تدعون من دون الله إن أرادني الله بضر هل هن كاشفات ضره أو أرادني برحمة هل هن ممسكات رحمته قل حسبي الله عليه يتوكل المتوكلون وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلْ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَاشِفَاتُ ضُرِّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَنِيَ بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَاتُ رَحْمَتِهِ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| سألتهم - you ask them| من - who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| ليقولن - Surely, they will say,| الله - "Allah."| قل - Say,| أفرأيتم - "Then do you see| ما - what| تدعون - you invoke| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah?| إن - if| أرادني - Allah intended for me| الله - Allah intended for me| بضر - harm,| هل - are| هن - they| كاشفات - removers| ضره - (of) harm (from) Him;| أو - or| أرادني - if He intended for me| برحمة - mercy,| هل - are| هن - they| ممسكات - withholders| رحمته - (of) His mercy?"| قل - Say,| حسبي - "Sufficient (is) Allah for me;| الله - "Sufficient (is) Allah for me;| عليه - upon Him| يتوكل - put trust| المتوكلون - those who trust."| | ||||||
