| 1 [3:173] | Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasuinna alnnasa qad jamaAAoo lakum faikhshawhumfazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbunaAllahu waniAAma alwakeelu |  الذين قال لهم الناس إن الناس قد جمعوا لكم فاخشوهم فزادهم إيمانا وقالوا حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيلالَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قال - said| لهم - to them| الناس - [the people],| إن - "Indeed| الناس - the people| قد - (have) certainly| جمعوا - gathered| لكم - against you,| فاخشوهم - so fear them."| فزادهم - But it increased them| إيمانا - (in) faith| وقالوا - and they said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| الله - (is) Allah| ونعم - and (He is the) best| الوكيل - [the] Disposer of affairs."| | ||||||
| 2 [5:104] | Wa-itha qeela lahum taAAalawila ma anzala Allahu wa-ila alrrasooliqaloo hasbuna ma wajadnaAAalayhi abaana awa law kana abaohumla yaAAlamoona shay-an wala yahtadoona | وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنزل الله وإلى الرسول قالوا حسبنا ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا أولو كان آباؤهم لا يعلمون شيئا ولا يهتدون وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come| إلى - to| ما - what| أنزل - has (been) revealed| الله - (by) Allah| وإلى - and to| الرسول - the Messenger,"| قالوا - they said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| ما - (is) what| وجدنا - we found| عليه - upon it| آباءنا - our forefathers."| أولو - Even though| كان - (that)| آباؤهم - their forefathers| لا - (were) not| يعلمون - knowing| شيئا - anything| ولا - and not| يهتدون - they (were) guided?| | ||||||
| 3 [9:59] | Walaw annahum radoo ma atahumuAllahu warasooluhu waqaloo hasbunaAllahu sayu/teena Allahu min fadlihiwarasooluhu inna ila Allahi raghiboona | ولو أنهم رضوا ما آتاهم الله ورسوله وقالوا حسبنا الله سيؤتينا الله من فضله ورسوله إنا إلى الله راغبون وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْاْ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللّهِ رَاغِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| رضوا - (were) satisfied| ما - (with) what| آتاهم - Allah gave them| الله - Allah gave them| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| وقالوا - and said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| الله - (is) Allah,| سيؤتينا - Allah will give us| الله - Allah will give us| من - of| فضله - His Bounty| ورسوله - and His Messenger.| إنا - Indeed, we| إلى - to| الله - Allah| راغبون - turn our hopes."| | ||||||
