| 1 [2:135] | Waqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasaratahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wamakana mina almushrikeena |  وقالوا كونوا هودا أو نصارى تهتدوا قل بل ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركينوَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى تَهْتَدُواْ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| كونوا - "Be| هودا - Jews| أو - or| نصارى - Christians,| تهتدوا - (then) you will be guided."| قل - Say,| بل - "Nay,| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| حنيفا - (the) upright;| وما - and not| كان - he was| من - of| المشركين - those who associated partners (with Allah)."| | ||||||
| 2 [24:54] | Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAooalrrasoola fa-in tawallaw fa-innama AAalayhi mahummila waAAalaykum ma hummiltum wa-in tuteeAAoohutahtadoo wama AAala alrrasooli illaalbalaghu almubeena | قل أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول فإن تولوا فإنما عليه ما حمل وعليكم ما حملتم وإن تطيعوه تهتدوا وما على الرسول إلا البلاغ المبين قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُم مَّا حُمِّلْتُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أطيعوا - "Obey| الله - Allah| وأطيعوا - and obey| الرسول - the Messenger,| فإن - but if| تولوا - you turn away| فإنما - then only| عليه - upon him| ما - (is) what| حمل - (is) placed on him,| وعليكم - and on you| ما - (is) what| حملتم - (is) placed on you.| وإن - And if| تطيعوه - you obey him,| تهتدوا - you will be guided.| وما - And not| على - (is) on| الرسول - the Messenger| إلا - except| البلاغ - the conveyance| المبين - [the] clear."| | ||||||
