| 1 [4:29] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola ta/kuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatiliilla an takoona tijaratan AAan taradinminkum wala taqtuloo anfusakum inna Allaha kanabikum raheeman |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تأكلوا أموالكم بينكم بالباطل إلا أن تكون تجارة عن تراض منكم ولا تقتلوا أنفسكم إن الله كان بكم رحيمايَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنكُمْ وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تأكلوا - eat| أموالكم - your wealth| بينكم - between yourselves| بالباطل - unjustly.| إلا - But| أن - that| تكون - (there) be| تجارة - business| عن - on| تراض - mutual consent| منكم - among you.| ولا - And (do) not| تقتلوا - kill| أنفسكم - yourselves.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بكم - to you| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:95] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumunwaman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu maqatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawaAAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratuntaAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyamanliyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa AllahuAAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahuminhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقتلوا الصيد وأنتم حرم ومن قتله منكم متعمدا فجزاء مثل ما قتل من النعم يحكم به ذوا عدل منكم هديا بالغ الكعبة أو كفارة طعام مساكين أو عدل ذلك صياما ليذوق وبال أمره عفا الله عما سلف ومن عاد فينتقم الله منه والله عزيز ذو انتقام يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ الصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَو عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللّهُ عَمَّا سَلَف وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوا - kill| الصيد - the game| وأنتم - while you| حرم - (are in) Ihram.| ومن - And whoever| قتله - killed it| منكم - among you| متعمدا - intentionally,| فجزاء - then penalty| مثل - (is) similar| ما - (to) what| قتل - he killed| من - of| النعم - the cattle,| يحكم - judging| به - it| ذوا - two men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you| هديا - (as) an offering| بالغ - reaching| الكعبة - the Kabah| أو - or| كفارة - an expiation -| طعام - feeding| مساكين - needy people| أو - or| عدل - equivalent| ذلك - (of) that| صياما - (in) fasting,| ليذوق - that he may taste| وبال - (the) consequence| أمره - (of) his deed.| عفا - Pardoned| الله - (by) Allah| عما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| ومن - but whoever| عاد - returned,| فينتقم - then will take retribution| الله - Allah| منه - from him.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| ذو - Owner| انتقام - (of) Retribution.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:151] | Qul taAAalaw atlu ma harramarabbukum AAalaykum alla tushrikoo bihi shay-an wabialwalidayniihsanan wala taqtuloo awladakum minimlaqin nahnu narzuqukum wa-iyyahum walataqraboo alfawahisha ma thahara minhawama batana wala taqtuloo alnnafsaallatee harrama Allahu illa bialhaqqithalikum wassakum bihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona | قل تعالوا أتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم ألا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا ولا تقتلوا أولادكم من إملاق نحن نرزقكم وإياهم ولا تقربوا الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تعقلون قُلْ تَعَالَوْاْ أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلاَّ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُم مِّنْ إمْلاَقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| تعالوا - "Come,| أتل - I will recite| ما - what| حرم - has prohibited| ربكم - your Lord| عليكم - to you.| ألا - That (do) not| تشركوا - associate| به - with Him| شيئا - anything,| وبالوالدين - and with the parents| إحسانا - (be) good,| ولا - and (do) not| تقتلوا - kill| أولادكم - your children| من - (out) of| إملاق - poverty,| نحن - We| نرزقكم - provide for you| وإياهم - and for them.| ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - go near| الفواحش - [the] immoralities| ما - what| ظهر - (is) apparent| منها - of them| وما - and what| بطن - (is) concealed.| ولا - And (do) not| تقتلوا - kill| النفس - the soul| التي - which| حرم - has (been) forbidden| الله - (by) Allah| إلا - except| بالحق - by (legal) right.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - with it,| لعلكم - so that you may| تعقلون - use reason."| | ||||||
| 4 [12:10] | Qala qa-ilun minhum lataqtuloo yoosufa waalqoohu fee ghayabati aljubbi yaltaqithubaAAdu alssayyarati in kuntum faAAileena | قال قائل منهم لا تقتلوا يوسف وألقوه في غيابت الجب يلتقطه بعض السيارة إن كنتم فاعلين قَالَ قَآئِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ يُوسُفَ وَأَلْقُوهُ فِي غَيَابَةِ الْجُبِّ يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ السَّيَّارَةِ إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| قائل - a speaker| منهم - among them,| لا - "(Do) not| تقتلوا - kill| يوسف - Yusuf| وألقوه - but throw him| في - in| غيابت - the bottom| الجب - (of) the well,| يلتقطه - will pick him| بعض - some| السيارة - [the] caravan| إن - if| كنتم - you are| فاعلين - doing."| | ||||||
| 5 [17:31] | Wala taqtuloo awladakumkhashyata imlaqin nahnu narzuquhum wa-iyyakuminna qatlahum kana khit-an kabeeran | ولا تقتلوا أولادكم خشية إملاق نحن نرزقهم وإياكم إن قتلهم كان خطئا كبيرا وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَوْلاَدَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلاَقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُم إنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْئاً كَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقتلوا - kill| أولادكم - your children| خشية - (for) fear| إملاق - (of) poverty.| نحن - We| نرزقهم - (We) provide for them| وإياكم - and for you.| إن - Indeed,| قتلهم - their killing| كان - is| خطئا - a sin| كبيرا - great.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:33] | Wala taqtuloo alnnafsa allateeharrama Allahu illa bialhaqqiwaman qutila mathlooman faqad jaAAalnaliwaliyyihi sultanan fala yusrif fee alqatli innahukana mansooran | ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ومن قتل مظلوما فقد جعلنا لوليه سلطانا فلا يسرف في القتل إنه كان منصورا وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلاَ يُسْرِف فِّي الْقَتْلِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْصُورًا | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقتلوا - kill| النفس - the soul| التي - which| حرم - Allah has forbidden,| الله - Allah has forbidden,| إلا - except| بالحق - by right.| ومن - And whoever| قتل - (is) killed| مظلوما - wrongfully,| فقد - verily| جعلنا - We have made| لوليه - for his heir| سلطانا - an authority,| فلا - but not| يسرف - he should exceed| في - in| القتل - the killing.| إنه - Indeed, he| كان - is| منصورا - helped.| | ||||||
