| 1 [12:37] | Qala la ya/teekuma taAAamunturzaqanihi illa nabba/tukuma bita/weelihiqabla an ya/tiyakuma thalikuma mimmaAAallamanee rabbee innee taraktu millata qawmin layu/minoona biAllahi wahum bial-akhiratihum kafiroona |  قال لا يأتيكما طعام ترزقانه إلا نبأتكما بتأويله قبل أن يأتيكما ذلكما مما علمني ربي إني تركت ملة قوم لا يؤمنون بالله وهم بالآخرة هم كافرونقَالَ لاَ يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِ إِلاَّ نَبَّأْتُكُمَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمَا ذَلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّي إِنِّي تَرَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| لا - "Not| يأتيكما - (will) come to both of you| طعام - food| ترزقانه - you are provided with| إلا - but| نبأتكما - I will inform both of you| بتأويله - of its interpretation,| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يأتيكما - [it] comes to both of you.| ذلكما - That| مما - (is) of what| علمني - has taught me| ربي - my Lord.| إني - Indeed, I| تركت - [I] abandon| ملة - (the) religion| قوم - (of) a people,| لا - not| يؤمنون - they believe| بالله - in Allah,| وهم - and they| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter| هم - [they]| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 2 [23:100] | LaAAallee aAAmalu salihanfeema taraktu kalla innaha kalimatun huwa qa-iluhawamin wara-ihim barzakhun ila yawmi yubAAathoona | لعلي أعمل صالحا فيما تركت كلا إنها كلمة هو قائلها ومن ورائهم برزخ إلى يوم يبعثون لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لعلي - That I may| أعمل - do| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| فيما - in what| تركت - I left behind."| كلا - No!| إنها - Indeed, it| كلمة - (is) a word| هو - he| قائلها - speaks it,| ومن - and before them| ورائهم - and before them| برزخ - (is) a barrier| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| يبعثون - they are resurrected.| | ||||||
