| 1 [4:18] | Walaysati alttawbatu lillatheenayaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala inneetubtu al-ana wala allatheena yamootoonawahum kuffarun ola-ika aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman |  وليست التوبة للذين يعملون السيئات حتى إذا حضر أحدهم الموت قال إني تبت الآن ولا الذين يموتون وهم كفار أولئك أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليماوَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وليست - And not| التوبة - (is) the acceptance of repentance| للذين - for those who| يعملون - do| السيئات - the evil deeds| حتى - until| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدهم - one of them| الموت - [the] death,| قال - he says,| إني - "Indeed I| تبت - repent| الآن - now;"| ولا - and not| الذين - those who| يموتون - die| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers.| أولئك - Those -| أعتدنا - We have prepared| لهم - for them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:143] | Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineena | ولما جاء موسى لميقاتنا وكلمه ربه قال رب أرني أنظر إليك قال لن تراني ولكن انظر إلى الجبل فإن استقر مكانه فسوف تراني فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا وخر موسى صعقا فلما أفاق قال سبحانك تبت إليك وأنا أول المؤمنين وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاء - came| موسى - Musa| لميقاتنا - to Our appointed place| وكلمه - and spoke to him| ربه - his Lord,| قال - he said,| رب - "O my Lord!| أرني - Show me| أنظر - (that) I may look| إليك - at You."| قال - He said,| لن - "Never| تراني - you (can) see Me,| ولكن - but| انظر - look| إلى - at| الجبل - the mountain| فإن - [then] if| استقر - it remains| مكانه - in its place| فسوف - then| تراني - you (will) see Me."| فلما - But when| تجلى - revealed (His) Glory| ربه - his Lord| للجبل - to the mountain,| جعله - He made it| دكا - crumbled to dust| وخر - and fell down| موسى - Musa| صعقا - unconscious.| فلما - And when| أفاق - he recovered| قال - he said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| تبت - I turn (in repentance)| إليك - to you,| وأنا - and I am| أول - (the) first| المؤمنين - (of) the believers."| | ||||||
| 3 [46:15] | Wawassayna al-insanabiwalidayhi ihsanan hamalat-hu ommuhukurhan wawadaAAat-hu kurhan wahamluhu wafisaluhuthalathoona shahran hatta ithabalagha ashuddahu wabalagha arbaAAeena sanatan qala rabbiawziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeena | ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه إحسانا حملته أمه كرها ووضعته كرها وحمله وفصاله ثلاثون شهرا حتى إذا بلغ أشده وبلغ أربعين سنة قال رب أوزعني أن أشكر نعمتك التي أنعمت علي وعلى والدي وأن أعمل صالحا ترضاه وأصلح لي في ذريتي إني تبت إليك وإني من المسلمين وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ووصينا - And We have enjoined| الإنسان - (on) man| بوالديه - to his parents| إحسانا - kindness.| حملته - Carried him| أمه - his mother| كرها - (with) hardship| ووضعته - and gave birth to him| كرها - (with) hardship.| وحمله - And (the) bearing of him| وفصاله - and (the) weaning of him| ثلاثون - (is) thirty| شهرا - month(s)| حتى - until,| إذا - when| بلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity| وبلغ - and reaches| أربعين - forty| سنة - year(s),| قال - he says,| رب - "My Lord,| أوزعني - grant me (the) power| أن - that| أشكر - I may be grateful| نعمتك - (for) Your favor| التي - which| أنعمت - You have bestowed| علي - upon me| وعلى - and upon| والدي - my parents| وأن - and that| أعمل - I do| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| ترضاه - which please You,| وأصلح - and make righteous| لي - for me| في - among| ذريتي - my offspring,| إني - indeed,| تبت - I turn| إليك - to You| وإني - and indeed, I am| من - of| المسلمين - those who submit."| | ||||||
| 4 [111:1] | Tabbat yada abee lahabin watabba | تبت يدا أبي لهب وتب تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ | |||||
