| 1 [2:137] | Fa-in amanoo bimithli ma amantumbihi faqadi ihtadaw wa-in tawallaw fa-innama hum fee shiqaqinfasayakfeekahumu Allahu wahuwa alssameeAAualAAaleemu |  فإن آمنوا بمثل ما آمنتم به فقد اهتدوا وإن تولوا فإنما هم في شقاق فسيكفيكهم الله وهو السميع العليمفَإِنْ آمَنُواْ بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنتُم بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَواْ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللّهُ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - So if| آمنوا - they believe[d]| بمثل - in (the) like| ما - (of) what| آمنتم - you have believed| به - in [it],| فقد - then indeed,| اهتدوا - they are (rightly) guided.| وإن - But if| تولوا - they turn away,| فإنما - then only| هم - they| في - (are) in| شقاق - dissension.| فسيكفيكهم - So will suffice you against them| الله - Allah,| وهو - and He| السميع - (is) the All-Hearing,| العليم - the All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:194] | Alshshahru alharamu bialshshahrialharami waalhurumatu qisasunfamani iAAtada AAalaykum faiAAtadoo AAalayhibimithli ma iAAtada AAalaykum waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena | الشهر الحرام بالشهر الحرام والحرمات قصاص فمن اعتدى عليكم فاعتدوا عليه بمثل ما اعتدى عليكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الشهر - The month| الحرام - [the] sacred| بالشهر - (is) for the month| الحرام - [the] sacred,| والحرمات - and for all the violations| قصاص - (is) legal retribution.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgressed| عليكم - upon you| فاعتدوا - then you transgress| عليه - on him| بمثل - in (the) same manner| ما - (as)| اعتدى - he transgressed| عليكم - upon you.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| مع - (is) with| المتقين - those who fear (Him).| | ||||||
| 3 [16:126] | Wa-in AAaqabtum faAAaqiboobimithli ma AAooqibtum bihi wala-in sabartum lahuwakhayrun lilssabireena | وإن عاقبتم فعاقبوا بمثل ما عوقبتم به ولئن صبرتم لهو خير للصابرين وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُواْ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُم بِهِ وَلَئِن صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِّلصَّابِرينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| عاقبتم - you retaliate,| فعاقبوا - then retaliate| بمثل - with the like| ما - of what| عوقبتم - you were afflicted| به - with [it].| ولئن - But if| صبرتم - you are patient,| لهو - surely (it) is| خير - better| للصابرين - for those who are patient.| | ||||||
| 4 [17:88] | Qul la-ini ijtamaAAati al-insu waaljinnuAAala an ya/too bimithli hatha alqur-ani laya/toona bimithlihi walaw kana baAAduhum libaAAdinthaheeran | قل لئن اجتمعت الإنس والجن على أن يأتوا بمثل هذا القرآن لا يأتون بمثله ولو كان بعضهم لبعض ظهيرا قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَن يَأْتُواْ بِمِثْلِ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ لاَ يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لئن - "If| اجتمعت - gathered| الإنس - the mankind| والجن - and the jinn| على - to| أن - [that]| يأتوا - bring| بمثل - the like| هذا - (of) this| القرآن - Quran,| لا - not| يأتون - they (could) bring| بمثله - the like of it,| ولو - even if| كان - were| بعضهم - some of them| لبعض - to some others| ظهيرا - assistants."| | ||||||
| 5 [22:60] | Thalika waman AAaqaba bimithlima AAooqiba bihi thumma bughiya AAalayhi layansurannahuAllahu inna Allaha laAAafuwwun ghafoorun | ذلك ومن عاقب بمثل ما عوقب به ثم بغي عليه لينصرنه الله إن الله لعفو غفور ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِهِ ثُمَّ بُغِيَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That,| ومن - and whoever| عاقب - has retaliated,| بمثل - with the like| ما - (of) that| عوقب - he was made to suffer| به - by it,| ثم - then| بغي - he was oppressed| عليه - [on him],| لينصرنه - Allah will surely help him.| الله - Allah will surely help him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لعفو - (is) surely Oft-Pardoning,| غفور - Oft-Forgiving.| | ||||||
| 6 [25:33] | Wala ya/toonaka bimathalin illaji/naka bialhaqqi waahsana tafseeran | ولا يأتونك بمثل إلا جئناك بالحق وأحسن تفسيرا وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| يأتونك - they come to you| بمثل - with an example| إلا - but| جئناك - We bring you| بالحق - the truth,| وأحسن - and (the) best| تفسيرا - explanation.| | ||||||
