| 1 [6:143] | Thamaniyata azwajin mina aldda/niithnayni wamina almaAAzi ithnayni qul alththakarayniharrama ami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhiarhamu alonthayayni nabbi-oonee biAAilmin in kuntum sadiqeena |  ثمانية أزواج من الضأن اثنين ومن المعز اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين نبئوني بعلم إن كنتم صادقينثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ مِّنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ نَبِّؤُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثمانية - Eight| أزواج - pairs -| من - of| الضأن - the sheep,| اثنين - two| ومن - and of| المعز - the goats| اثنين - two.| قل - Say,| آلذكرين - "(Are) the two males| حرم - He has forbidden| أم - or| الأنثيين - the two females| أما - or what| اشتملت - contains| عليه - [in it]| أرحام - (the) wombs| الأنثيين - (of) the two females?| نبئوني - Inform me| بعلم - with knowledge,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:7] | Falanaqussanna AAalayhim biAAilmin wamakunna gha-ibeena | فلنقصن عليهم بعلم وما كنا غائبين فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيْهِم بِعِلْمٍ وَمَا كُنَّا غَآئِبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلنقصن - Then surely We will narrate| عليهم - to them| بعلم - with knowledge,| وما - and not| كنا - were We| غائبين - absent.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:14] | Fa-illam yastajeeboo lakum faiAAlamooannama onzila biAAilmi Allahi waan la ilahailla huwa fahal antum muslimoona | فإلم يستجيبوا لكم فاعلموا أنما أنزل بعلم الله وأن لا إله إلا هو فهل أنتم مسلمون فَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا أُنزِلَ بِعِلْمِ اللّهِ وَأَن لاَّ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإلم - Then if not| يستجيبوا - they respond| لكم - to you| فاعلموا - then know| أنما - that| أنزل - it was sent down| بعلم - with the knowledge of Allah,| الله - with the knowledge of Allah,| وأن - and that| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him.| فهل - Then, would| أنتم - you| مسلمون - (be) Muslims?| | ||||||
