| 1 [2:61] | Wa-ith qultum ya moosalan nasbira AAala taAAamin wahidinfaodAAu lana rabbaka yukhrij lana mimmatunbitu al-ardu min baqliha waqiththa-ihawafoomiha waAAadasiha wabasaliha qalaatastabdiloona allathee huwa adna biallatheehuwa khayrun ihbitoo misran fa-inna lakum masaaltum waduribat AAalayhimu alththillatu waalmaskanatuwabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi thalikabi-annahum kanoo yakfuroona bi-ayati Allahiwayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri alhaqqi thalikabima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona |  وإذ قلتم يا موسى لن نصبر على طعام واحد فادع لنا ربك يخرج لنا مما تنبت الأرض من بقلها وقثائها وفومها وعدسها وبصلها قال أتستبدلون الذي هو أدنى بالذي هو خير اهبطوا مصرا فإن لكم ما سألتم وضربت عليهم الذلة والمسكنة وباءوا بغضب من الله ذلك بأنهم كانوا يكفرون بآيات الله ويقتلون النبيين بغير الحق ذلك بما عصوا وكانوا يعتدونوَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَى طَعَامٍ وَّاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِنْ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ اهْبِطُواْ مِصْراً فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآؤُوْاْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلتم - you said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| لن - Never (will)| نصبر - we endure| على - [on]| طعام - food| واحد - (of) one (kind),| فادع - so pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يخرج - to bring forth| لنا - for us| مما - out of what| تنبت - grows| الأرض - the earth,| من - of| بقلها - its herbs,| وقثائها - [and] its cucumbers,| وفومها - [and] its garlic,| وعدسها - [and] its lentils,| وبصلها - and its onions."| قال - He said,| أتستبدلون - "Would you exchange| الذي - that which| هو - [it]| أدنى - (is) inferior| بالذي - for that which| هو - [it]| خير - (is) better?| اهبطوا - Go down| مصرا - (to) a city,| فإن - so indeed| لكم - for you| ما - (is) what| سألتم - you have asked (for)."| وضربت - And were struck| عليهم - on them| الذلة - the humiliation| والمسكنة - and the misery| وباءوا - and they drew on themselves| بغضب - wrath| من - of| الله - Allah| ذلك - That (was)| بأنهم - because they| كانوا - used to| يكفرون - disbelieve| بآيات - in (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah| ويقتلون - and kill| النبيين - the Prophets| بغير - without (any)| الحق - [the] right.| ذلك - That| بما - (was) because| عصوا - they disobeyed| وكانوا - and they were| يعتدون - transgressing.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:72] | Waqalat ta-ifatun min ahlialkitabi aminoo biallathee onzilaAAala allatheena amanoo wajha alnnahariwaokfuroo akhirahu laAAallahum yarjiAAoona | وقالت طائفة من أهل الكتاب آمنوا بالذي أنزل على الذين آمنوا وجه النهار واكفروا آخره لعلهم يرجعون وَقَالَت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمِنُواْ بِالَّذِي أُنزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُواْ آخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| طائفة - a group| من - of| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book,| آمنوا - "Believe| بالذي - in what| أنزل - was revealed| على - on| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| وجه - (at the) beginning| النهار - (of) the day,| واكفروا - and reject| آخره - (at) its end,| لعلهم - perhaps they may| يرجعون - return.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:76] | Qala allatheena istakbaroo innabiallathee amantum bihi kafiroona | قال الذين استكبروا إنا بالذي آمنتم به كافرون قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا بِالَّذِي آمَنتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الذين - those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed we,| بالذي - in that which| آمنتم - you believe| به - in it| كافرون - (are) disbelievers."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:87] | Wa-in kana ta-ifatun minkum amanoobiallathee orsiltu bihi wata-ifatun lamyu/minoo faisbiroo hatta yahkumaAllahu baynana wahuwa khayru alhakimeena | وإن كان طائفة منكم آمنوا بالذي أرسلت به وطائفة لم يؤمنوا فاصبروا حتى يحكم الله بيننا وهو خير الحاكمين وَإِن كَانَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنكُمْ آمَنُواْ بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَآئِفَةٌ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ فَاصْبِرُواْ حَتَّى يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كان - (there) is| طائفة - a group| منكم - among you| آمنوا - (who has) believed| بالذي - in that which| أرسلت - I have been sent| به - with [it],| وطائفة - and a group| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they believe,| فاصبروا - then be patient| حتى - until| يحكم - judges| الله - Allah| بيننا - between us.| وهو - And He| خير - (is the) Best| الحاكمين - (of) [the] Judges."| | ||||||
| 5 [17:86] | Wala-in shi/na lanathhabannabiallathee awhayna ilayka thumma latajidu laka bihi AAalayna wakeelan | ولئن شئنا لنذهبن بالذي أوحينا إليك ثم لا تجد لك به علينا وكيلا وَلَئِن شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| شئنا - We willed,| لنذهبن - We (would) have surely taken away| بالذي - that which| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you.| ثم - Then| لا - not| تجد - you would find| لك - for you| به - concerning it| علينا - against Us| وكيلا - any advocate,| | ||||||
| 6 [18:37] | Qala lahu sahibuhu wahuwa yuhawiruhuakafarta biallathee khalaqaka min turabinthumma min nutfatin thumma sawwaka rajulan | قال له صاحبه وهو يحاوره أكفرت بالذي خلقك من تراب ثم من نطفة ثم سواك رجلا قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلاً | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| له - to him| صاحبه - his companion| وهو - while he| يحاوره - was talking to him,| أكفرت - "Do you disbelieve| بالذي - in One Who| خلقك - created you| من - from| تراب - dust| ثم - then| من - from| نطفة - a minute quantity of semen.| ثم - then| سواك - fashioned you| رجلا - (into) a man?| | ||||||
| 7 [28:19] | Falamma an arada an yabtishabiallathee huwa AAaduwwun lahuma qalaya moosa atureedu an taqtulanee kama qataltanafsan bial-amsi in tureedu illa an takoona jabbaranfee al-ardi wama tureedu an takoona mina almusliheena | فلما أن أراد أن يبطش بالذي هو عدو لهما قال يا موسى أتريد أن تقتلني كما قتلت نفسا بالأمس إن تريد إلا أن تكون جبارا في الأرض وما تريد أن تكون من المصلحين فَلَمَّا أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِالَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا بِالْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| أن - [that]| أراد - he wanted| أن - to| يبطش - strike| بالذي - the one who| هو - [he] (was)| عدو - an enemy| لهما - to both of them,| قال - he said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| أتريد - Do you intend| أن - to| تقتلني - kill me| كما - as| قتلت - you killed| نفسا - a person| بالأمس - yesterday?| إن - Not| تريد - you want| إلا - but| أن - that| تكون - you become| جبارا - a tyrant| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| وما - and not| تريد - you want| أن - that| تكون - you be| من - of| المصلحين - the reformers."| | ||||||
| 8 [29:46] | Wala tujadiloo ahla alkitabiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu illa allatheenathalamoo minhum waqooloo amanna biallatheeonzila ilayna waonzila ilaykum wa-ilahunawa-ilahukum wahidun wanahnu lahu muslimoona | ولا تجادلوا أهل الكتاب إلا بالتي هي أحسن إلا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا آمنا بالذي أنزل إلينا وأنزل إليكم وإلهنا وإلهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَهُنَا وَإِلَهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تجادلوا - argue| أهل - (with the) People of the Book| الكتاب - (with the) People of the Book| إلا - except| بالتي - by which| هي - [it]| أحسن - (is) best,| إلا - except| الذين - those who| ظلموا - (do) wrong| منهم - among them,| وقولوا - and say,| آمنا - "We believe| بالذي - in that (which)| أنزل - has been revealed| إلينا - to us| وأنزل - and was revealed| إليكم - to you.| وإلهنا - And our God| وإلهكم - and your God| واحد - (is) One,| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مسلمون - submit."| | ||||||
| 9 [34:31] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo lannu/mina bihatha alqur-ani wala biallatheebayna yadayhi walaw tara ithi alththalimoonamawqoofoona AAinda rabbihim yarjiAAu baAAduhum ilabaAAdin alqawla yaqoolu allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo lawla antum lakunnamu/mineena | وقال الذين كفروا لن نؤمن بهذا القرآن ولا بالذي بين يديه ولو ترى إذ الظالمون موقوفون عند ربهم يرجع بعضهم إلى بعض القول يقول الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا لولا أنتم لكنا مؤمنين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| لن - "Never will| نؤمن - we believe| بهذا - in this| القرآن - Quran| ولا - and not| بالذي - in (that) which| بين - (was) before it."| يديه - (was) before it."| ولو - But if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| موقوفون - will be made to stand| عند - before| ربهم - their Lord,| يرجع - will throw back| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| القول - the word.| يقول - Will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| لولا - "If not| أنتم - (for) you| لكنا - certainly we (would) have been| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 10 [41:9] | Qul a-innakum latakfuroona biallatheekhalaqa al-arda fee yawmayni watajAAaloona lahu andadanthalika rabbu alAAalameena | قل أئنكم لتكفرون بالذي خلق الأرض في يومين وتجعلون له أندادا ذلك رب العالمين قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَندَادًا ذَلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أئنكم - "Do you indeed| لتكفرون - [surely] disbelieve| بالذي - in the One Who| خلق - created| الأرض - the earth| في - in| يومين - two periods| وتجعلون - and you set up| له - with Him| أندادا - rivals?| ذلك - That| رب - (is the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds."| | ||||||
| 11 [43:43] | Faistamsik biallatheeoohiya ilayka innaka AAala siratinmustaqeemin | فاستمسك بالذي أوحي إليك إنك على صراط مستقيم فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
