| 1 [3:7] | Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitabaminhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommualkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faammaallatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona matashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati waibtighaata/weelihi wama yaAAlamu ta/weelahu illa Allahuwaalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albabi |  هو الذي أنزل عليك الكتاب منه آيات محكمات هن أم الكتاب وأخر متشابهات فأما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ فيتبعون ما تشابه منه ابتغاء الفتنة وابتغاء تأويله وما يعلم تأويله إلا الله والراسخون في العلم يقولون آمنا به كل من عند ربنا وما يذكر إلا أولو الألبابهُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الْأَلْبَابِ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنزل - revealed| عليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book,| منه - of it| آيات - (are) Verses| محكمات - absolutely clear -| هن - they (are)| أم - the foundation| الكتاب - (of) the Book,| وأخر - and others| متشابهات - (are) allegorical.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| زيغ - (is) perversity -| فيتبعون - [so] they follow| ما - what| تشابه - (is) allegorical| منه - of it,| ابتغاء - seeking| الفتنة - [the] discord| وابتغاء - and seeking| تأويله - its interpretation.| وما - And not| يعلم - knows| تأويله - its interpretation| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| والراسخون - And those firm| في - in| العلم - [the] knowledge,| يقولون - they say,| آمنا - "We believe| به - in it.| كل - All| من - (is)| عند - from| ربنا - our Lord."| وما - And not| يذكر - will take heed| إلا - except| أولو - men| الألباب - (of) understanding.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:91] | Satajidoona akhareena yureedoona anya/manookum waya/manoo qawmahum kulla ma ruddoo ilaalfitnati orkisoo feeha fa-in lam yaAAtazilookum wayulqooilaykumu alssalama wayakuffoo aydiyahum fakhuthoohumwaoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waola-ikumjaAAalna lakum AAalayhim sultanan mubeenan | ستجدون آخرين يريدون أن يأمنوكم ويأمنوا قومهم كل ما ردوا إلى الفتنة أركسوا فيها فإن لم يعتزلوكم ويلقوا إليكم السلم ويكفوا أيديهم فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث ثقفتموهم وأولئكم جعلنا لكم عليهم سلطانا مبينا سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوَاْ إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُواْ فِيهَا فَإِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُواْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ستجدون - You will find| آخرين - others| يريدون - wishing| أن - that| يأمنوكم - they be secure from you| ويأمنوا - and they be secure from| قومهم - their people,| كل - Everytime| ما - that| ردوا - they are returned| إلى - to| الفتنة - the temptation,| أركسوا - they are plunged| فيها - into it.| فإن - So if| لم - not| يعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| ويلقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| ويكفوا - and they restrain| أيديهم - their hands,| فخذوهم - then seize them| واقتلوهم - and kill them| حيث - wherever| ثقفتموهم - you find them.| وأولئكم - And those -| جعلنا - We made| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سلطانا - an authority| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:47] | Law kharajoo feekum ma zadookumilla khabalan walaawdaAAoo khilalakumyabghoonakumu alfitnata wafeekum sammaAAoona lahum waAllahuAAaleemun bialththalimeena | لو خرجوا فيكم ما زادوكم إلا خبالا ولأوضعوا خلالكم يبغونكم الفتنة وفيكم سماعون لهم والله عليم بالظالمين لَوْ خَرَجُواْ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمْ إِلاَّ خَبَالاً وَلَأَوْضَعُواْ خِلاَلَكُمْ يَبْغُونَكُمُ الْفِتْنَةَ وَفِيكُمْ سَمَّاعُونَ لَهُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| خرجوا - they (had) gone forth| فيكم - with you,| ما - not| زادوكم - they (would) have increased you| إلا - except| خبالا - (in) confusion| ولأوضعوا - and would have been active| خلالكم - in your midst| يبغونكم - seeking (for) you| الفتنة - dissension.| وفيكم - And among you (are some)| سماعون - who would have listened| لهم - to them.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower,| بالظالمين - of the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:48] | Laqadi ibtaghawoo alfitnata min qabluwaqallaboo laka al-omoora hatta jaa alhaqquwathahara amru Allahi wahum karihoona | لقد ابتغوا الفتنة من قبل وقلبوا لك الأمور حتى جاء الحق وظهر أمر الله وهم كارهون لَقَدِ ابْتَغَوُاْ الْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ الْأُمُورَ حَتَّى جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ اللّهِ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| ابتغوا - they had sought| الفتنة - dissension| من - before| قبل - before| وقلبوا - and had upset| لك - for you| الأمور - the matters| حتى - until| جاء - came| الحق - the truth| وظهر - and became manifest| أمر - (the) Order of Allah,| الله - (the) Order of Allah,| وهم - while they| كارهون - disliked (it).| | ||||||
| 5 [9:49] | Waminhum man yaqoolu i/than lee walataftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wa-innajahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena | ومنهم من يقول ائذن لي ولا تفتني ألا في الفتنة سقطوا وإن جهنم لمحيطة بالكافرين وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ائْذَن لِّي وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي أَلاَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُواْ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (is he) who| يقول - says,| ائذن - "Grant me leave| لي - "Grant me leave| ولا - and (do) not| تفتني - put me to trial."| ألا - Surely,| في - in| الفتنة - the trial| سقطوا - they have fallen.| وإن - And indeed,| جهنم - Hell| لمحيطة - (will) surely surround| بالكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 6 [33:14] | Walaw dukhilat AAalayhim min aqtarihathumma su-iloo alfitnata laatawha wamatalabbathoo biha illa yaseeran | ولو دخلت عليهم من أقطارها ثم سئلوا الفتنة لآتوها وما تلبثوا بها إلا يسيرا وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| دخلت - had been entered| عليهم - upon them| من - from| أقطارها - all its sides| ثم - then| سئلوا - they had been asked| الفتنة - the treachery,| لآتوها - they (would) have certainly done it| وما - and not| تلبثوا - they (would) have hesitated| بها - over it| إلا - except| يسيرا - a little.| | ||||||
