| 1 [2:257] | Allahu waliyyu allatheena amanooyukhrijuhum mina alththulumati ilaalnnoori waallatheena kafaroo awliyaohumualttaghootu yukhrijoonahum mina alnnoori ilaalththulumati ola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona |  الله ولي الذين آمنوا يخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور والذين كفروا أولياؤهم الطاغوت يخرجونهم من النور إلى الظلمات أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدوناللّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُرِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| ولي - (is the) Protecting Guardian| الذين - (of) those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| يخرجهم - He brings them out| من - from| الظلمات - [the] darkness| إلى - towards| النور - [the] light.| والذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieve(d)| أولياؤهم - their guardians| الطاغوت - (are) the evil ones,| يخرجونهم - they bring them out| من - from| النور - the light| إلى - towards| الظلمات - [the] darkness.| أولئك - Those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:16] | Yahdee bihi Allahu mani ittabaAAa ridwanahusubula alssalami wayukhrijuhum mina alththulumatiila alnnoori bi-ithnihi wayahdeehim ilasiratin mustaqeemin | يهدي به الله من اتبع رضوانه سبل السلام ويخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور بإذنه ويهديهم إلى صراط مستقيم يَهْدِي بِهِ اللّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنِ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||

| 3 [6:1] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardawajaAAala alththulumati waalnnoorathumma allatheena kafaroo birabbihim yaAAdiloona | الحمد لله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وجعل الظلمات والنور ثم الذين كفروا بربهم يعدلون الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِم يَعْدِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الحمد - (All) the praises and thanks| لله - (be) to Allah,| الذي - the One Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وجعل - and made| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| والنور - and the light.| ثم - Then| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| بربهم - in their Lord| يعدلون - equate others with Him.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:39] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina summun wabukmun fee alththulumatiman yasha-i Allahu yudlilhu waman yasha/ yajAAalhuAAala siratin mustaqeemin | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا صم وبكم في الظلمات من يشإ الله يضلله ومن يشأ يجعله على صراط مستقيم وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ مَن يَشَإِ اللّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - rejected| بآياتنا - Our Verses| صم - (are) deaf| وبكم - and dumb| في - in| الظلمات - the darkness[es].| من - Whoever| يشإ - wills| الله - Allah -| يضلله - He lets him go astray| ومن - and whoever| يشأ - He wills -| يجعله - He places him| على - on| صراط - (the) way,| مستقيم - (the) straight.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:122] | Awa man kana maytan faahyaynahuwajaAAalna lahu nooran yamshee bihi fee alnnasikaman mathaluhu fee alththulumatilaysa bikharijin minha kathalika zuyyinalilkafireena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona | أومن كان ميتا فأحييناه وجعلنا له نورا يمشي به في الناس كمن مثله في الظلمات ليس بخارج منها كذلك زين للكافرين ما كانوا يعملون أَوَ مَن كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أومن - Is (one) who| كان - was| ميتا - dead| فأحييناه - and We gave him life| وجعلنا - and We made| له - for him| نورا - light,| يمشي - he walks| به - whereby| في - among| الناس - the people,| كمن - like (one) who| مثله - [similar to him]| في - (is) in| الظلمات - the darknesses,| ليس - not| بخارج - he comes out| منها - of it?| كذلك - Thus| زين - is made fair-seeming| للكافرين - to the disbelievers| ما - what| كانوا - they were| يعملون - doing.| | ||||||
| 6 [13:16] | Qul man rabbu alssamawatiwaal-ardi quli Allahu qul afaittakhathtummin doonihi awliyaa la yamlikoona li-anfusihimnafAAan wala darran qul hal yastawee al-aAAmawaalbaseeru am hal tastawee alththulumatuwaalnnooru am jaAAaloo lillahi shurakaakhalaqoo kakhalqihi fatashabaha alkhalqu AAalayhim quliAllahu khaliqu kulli shay-in wahuwa alwahidualqahharu | قل من رب السماوات والأرض قل الله قل أفاتخذتم من دونه أولياء لا يملكون لأنفسهم نفعا ولا ضرا قل هل يستوي الأعمى والبصير أم هل تستوي الظلمات والنور أم جعلوا لله شركاء خلقوا كخلقه فتشابه الخلق عليهم قل الله خالق كل شيء وهو الواحد القهار قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُلِ اللّهُ قُلْ أَفَاتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ لاَ يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلاَ ضَرًّا قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي الظُّلُمَاتُ وَالنُّورُ أَمْ جَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ خَلَقُواْ كَخَلْقِهِ فَتَشَابَهَ الْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ قُلِ اللّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| رب - (is) the Lord| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?"| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah."| قل - Say,| أفاتخذتم - "Have you then taken| من - from| دونه - besides Him,| أولياء - protectors,| لا - not| يملكون - they have power| لأنفسهم - for themselves| نفعا - (to) benefit| ولا - and not| ضرا - (to) harm?"| قل - Say,| هل - "Is| يستوي - equal| الأعمى - the blind| والبصير - and the seeing?| أم - Or| هل - is| تستوي - equal| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| والنور - and the light?| أم - Or| جعلوا - they attribute| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners| خلقوا - who created| كخلقه - like His creation,| فتشابه - so that seemed alike| الخلق - the creation| عليهم - to them?"| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| خالق - (is) the Creator| كل - of all| شيء - things,| وهو - and He| الواحد - (is) the One| القهار - the Irresistible."| | ||||||
| 7 [14:1] | Alif-lam-ra kitabunanzalnahu ilayka litukhrija alnnasa mina alththulumatiila alnnoori bi-ithni rabbihim ila siratialAAazeezi alhameedi | الر كتاب أنزلناه إليك لتخرج الناس من الظلمات إلى النور بإذن ربهم إلى صراط العزيز الحميد الر كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ | |||||
| Words | |الر - Alif Laam Ra.| كتاب - A Book| أنزلناه - which We have revealed| إليك - to you,| لتخرج - so that you may bring out| الناس - the mankind| من - from| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| إلى - to| النور - the light| بإذن - by the permission| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| إلى - to| صراط - the Path| العزيز - (of) the All-Mighty,| الحميد - the Praiseworthy.| | ||||||
| 8 [14:5] | Walaqad arsalna moosa bi-ayatinaan akhrij qawmaka mina alththulumatiila alnnoori wathakkirhum bi-ayyamiAllahi inna fee thalika laayatinlikulli sabbarin shakoorin | ولقد أرسلنا موسى بآياتنا أن أخرج قومك من الظلمات إلى النور وذكرهم بأيام الله إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُمْ بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| أرسلنا - We sent| موسى - Musa| بآياتنا - with Our Signs,| أن - that| أخرج - "Bring out| قومك - your people| من - from| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| إلى - to| النور - the light.| وذكرهم - And remind them| بأيام - of the days| الله - (of) Allah."| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) the signs| لكل - for everyone| صبار - patient| شكور - and thankful.| | ||||||
| 9 [21:87] | Watha alnnooni ith thahabamughadiban fathanna an lan naqdira AAalayhifanada fee alththulumatian la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inneekuntu mina alththalimeena | وذا النون إذ ذهب مغاضبا فظن أن لن نقدر عليه فنادى في الظلمات أن لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذا - And Dhun-Nun| النون - And Dhun-Nun| إذ - when| ذهب - he went| مغاضبا - (while) angry| فظن - and thought| أن - that| لن - never| نقدر - We would decree| عليه - upon him.| فنادى - Then he called| في - in| الظلمات - the darkness(es)| أن - that,| لا - "(There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| أنت - You,| سبحانك - Glory be to You!| إني - Indeed, [I]| كنت - I am| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 10 [33:43] | Huwa allathee yusalleeAAalaykum wamala-ikatuhu liyukhrijakum mina alththulumatiila alnnoori wakana bialmu/mineena raheeman | هو الذي يصلي عليكم وملائكته ليخرجكم من الظلمات إلى النور وكان بالمؤمنين رحيما هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يصلي - sends His blessings| عليكم - upon you| وملائكته - and His Angels| ليخرجكم - so that He may bring you out| من - from| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| إلى - to| النور - the light.| وكان - And He is| بالمؤمنين - to the believers| رحيما - Merciful.| | ||||||
| 11 [35:20] | Wala alththulumatuwala alnnooru | ولا الظلمات ولا النور وَلَا الظُّلُمَاتُ وَلَا النُّورُ | |||||

| 12 [57:9] | Huwa allathee yunazzilu AAalaAAabdihi ayatin bayyinatin liyukhrijakummina alththulumati ila alnnooriwa-inna Allaha bikum laraoofun raheemun | هو الذي ينزل على عبده آيات بينات ليخرجكم من الظلمات إلى النور وإن الله بكم لرءوف رحيم هُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| 13 [65:11] | Rasoolan yatloo AAalaykum ayatiAllahi mubayyinatin liyukhrija allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati mina alththulumatiila alnnoori waman yu/min biAllahiwayaAAmal salihan yudkhilhu jannatin tajreemin tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feehaabadan qad ahsana Allahu lahu rizqan | رسولا يتلو عليكم آيات الله مبينات ليخرج الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات من الظلمات إلى النور ومن يؤمن بالله ويعمل صالحا يدخله جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا قد أحسن الله له رزقا رَّسُولًا يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا قَدْ أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ لَهُ رِزْقًا | |||||
