| 1 [2:125] | Wa-ith jaAAalna albayta mathabatanlilnnasi waamnan waittakhithoo minmaqami ibraheema musallan waAAahidnaila ibraheema wa-ismaAAeela an tahhirabaytiya liltta-ifeena waalAAakifeenawaalrrukkaAAi alssujoodi |  وإذ جعلنا البيت مثابة للناس وأمنا واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى وعهدنا إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل أن طهرا بيتي للطائفين والعاكفين والركع السجودوَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْناً وَاتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| جعلنا - We made| البيت - the House| مثابة - a place of return| للناس - for mankind| وأمنا - and (a place of) security| واتخذوا - and (said), "Take| من - [from]| مقام - (the) standing place| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| مصلى - (as) a place of prayer."| وعهدنا - And We made a covenant| إلى - with| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| أن - [that],| طهرا - "[You both] purify| بيتي - My House| للطائفين - for those who circumambulate| والعاكفين - and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer| والركع - and those who bow down| السجود - and those who prostrate."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:127] | Wa-ith yarfaAAu ibraheemualqawaAAida mina albayti wa-ismaAAeelu rabbanataqabbal minna innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu | وإذ يرفع إبراهيم القواعد من البيت وإسماعيل ربنا تقبل منا إنك أنت السميع العليم وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يرفع - (was) raising| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| القواعد - the foundations| من - of| البيت - the House| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael,| ربنا - (saying), "Our Lord!| تقبل - Accept| منا - from us.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - [You] (are)| السميع - the All-Hearing,| العليم - the All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:158] | Inna alssafa waalmarwatamin shaAAa-iri Allahi faman hajja albaytaawi iAAtamara fala junaha AAalayhi an yattawwafabihima waman tatawwaAAa khayran fa-inna Allahashakirun AAaleemun | إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله فمن حج البيت أو اعتمر فلا جناح عليه أن يطوف بهما ومن تطوع خيرا فإن الله شاكر عليم إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ اللّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الصفا - the Safa| والمروة - and the Marwah| من - (are) from| شعائر - (the) symbols| الله - (of) Allah.| فمن - So whoever| حج - performs Hajj| البيت - (of) the House| أو - or| اعتمر - performs Umrah,| فلا - so no| جناح - blame| عليه - on him| أن - that| يطوف - he walks| بهما - between [both of] them.| ومن - And whoever| تطوع - voluntarily does| خيرا - good,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| شاكر - (is) All-Appreciative,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:97] | Feehi ayatun bayyinatunmaqamu ibraheema waman dakhalahu kana aminanwalillahi AAala alnnasi hijjualbayti mani istataAAa ilayhi sabeelan waman kafarafa-inna Allaha ghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena | فيه آيات بينات مقام إبراهيم ومن دخله كان آمنا ولله على الناس حج البيت من استطاع إليه سبيلا ومن كفر فإن الله غني عن العالمين فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّـنَاتٌ مَّقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَن دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِنًا وَلِلّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلاً وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ الله غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فيه - In it| آيات - (are) signs| بينات - clear,| مقام - standing place| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| ومن - and whoever| دخله - enters it -| كان - is| آمنا - safe.| ولله - And (due) to Allah| على - upon| الناس - the mankind| حج - (is) pilgrimage| البيت - (of) the House| من - (for one) who| استطاع - is able| إليه - to [it]| سبيلا - (find) a way.| ومن - And whoever| كفر - disbelieved| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| غني - (is) free from need| عن - of| العالمين - the universe.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:2] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tuhilloo shaAAa-ira Allahi walaalshshahra alharama wala alhadya walaalqala-ida wala ammeena albayta alharamayabtaghoona fadlan min rabbihim waridwananwa-itha halaltum faistadoo walayajrimannakum shanaanu qawmin an saddookum AAanialmasjidi alharami an taAAtadoo wataAAawanooAAala albirri waalttaqwa wala taAAawanooAAala al-ithmi waalAAudwani waittaqooAllaha inna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تحلوا شعائر الله ولا الشهر الحرام ولا الهدي ولا القلائد ولا آمين البيت الحرام يبتغون فضلا من ربهم ورضوانا وإذا حللتم فاصطادوا ولا يجرمنكم شنآن قوم أن صدوكم عن المسجد الحرام أن تعتدوا وتعاونوا على البر والتقوى ولا تعاونوا على الإثم والعدوان واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تُحِلُّواْ شَعَآئِرَ اللّهِ وَلاَ الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلاَ الْهَدْيَ وَلاَ الْقَلآئِدَ وَلاَ آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانًا وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَاصْطَادُواْ وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُواْ وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الْـبِـرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الذين - you (who)| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تحلوا - violate| شعائر - (the) rites| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and not| الشهر - the month,| الحرام - the sacred,| ولا - and not| الهدي - the sacrificial animals| ولا - and not| القلائد - the garlanded| ولا - and not| آمين - (those) coming| البيت - (to) the House,| الحرام - the Sacred,| يبتغون - seeking| فضلا - Bounty| من - of| ربهم - their Lord| ورضوانا - and good pleasure.| وإذا - And when| حللتم - you come out of Ihram| فاصطادوا - then (you may) hunt.| ولا - And let not| يجرمنكم - incite you| شنآن - (the) hatred| قوم - (for) a people| أن - as| صدوكم - they stopped you| عن - from| المسجد - Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam| أن - that| تعتدوا - you commit transgression.| وتعاونوا - And help one another| على - in| البر - [the] righteousness| والتقوى - and [the] piety,| ولا - but (do) not| تعاونوا - help one another| على - in| الإثم - [the] sin| والعدوان - and [the] transgression.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) [the] punishment.| | ||||||
| 6 [5:97] | JaAAala Allahu alkaAAbata albayta alharamaqiyaman lilnnasi waalshshahra alharamawaalhadya waalqala-ida thalikalitaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi waanna Allaha bikullishay-in AAaleemun | جعل الله الكعبة البيت الحرام قياما للناس والشهر الحرام والهدي والقلائد ذلك لتعلموا أن الله يعلم ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وأن الله بكل شيء عليم جَعَلَ اللّهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ قِيَامًا لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَالْهَدْيَ وَالْقَلاَئِدَ ذَلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |جعل - Has (been) made| الله - (by) Allah| الكعبة - the Kabah,| البيت - the House,| الحرام - the Sacred,| قياما - an establishment| للناس - for mankind| والشهر - and the month(s)| الحرام - [the] sacred| والهدي - and the (animals) for offering| والقلائد - and the garlands.| ذلك - That (is)| لتعلموا - so that you may know| أن - that| الله - Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - what| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and what| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth,| وأن - and that| الله - Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 7 [8:35] | Wama kana salatuhumAAinda albayti illa mukaan watasdiyatan fathooqooalAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona | وما كان صلاتهم عند البيت إلا مكاء وتصدية فذوقوا العذاب بما كنتم تكفرون وَمَا كَانَ صَلاَتُهُمْ عِندَ الْبَيْتِ إِلاَّ مُكَاءً وَتَصْدِيَةً فَذُوقُواْ الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| صلاتهم - their prayer| عند - at| البيت - the House| إلا - except| مكاء - whistling| وتصدية - and clapping.| فذوقوا - So taste| العذاب - the punishment| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 8 [11:73] | Qaloo ataAAjabeena min amri Allahirahmatu Allahi wabarakatuhu AAalaykum ahlaalbayti innahu hameedun majeedun | قالوا أتعجبين من أمر الله رحمت الله وبركاته عليكم أهل البيت إنه حميد مجيد قَالُواْ أَتَعْجَبِينَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللّهِ رَحْمَتُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ إِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أتعجبين - "Are you amazed| من - at| أمر - (the) decree of Allah?| الله - (the) decree of Allah?| رحمت - The Mercy of Allah| الله - The Mercy of Allah| وبركاته - and His blessings| عليكم - (be) upon you,| أهل - people| البيت - (of) the house.| إنه - Indeed, He| حميد - (is) All-Praiseworthy,| مجيد - All-Glorious."| | ||||||
| 9 [22:26] | Wa-ith bawwa/na li-ibraheemamakana albayti an la tushrik bee shay-an watahhirbaytiya liltta-ifeena waalqa-imeenawaalrrukkaAAi alssujoodi | وإذ بوأنا لإبراهيم مكان البيت أن لا تشرك بي شيئا وطهر بيتي للطائفين والقائمين والركع السجود وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَن لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| بوأنا - We assigned| لإبراهيم - to Ibrahim| مكان - (the) site| البيت - (of) the House,| أن - "That| لا - (do) not| تشرك - associate| بي - with Me| شيئا - anything| وطهر - and purify| بيتي - My House| للطائفين - for those who circumambulate| والقائمين - and those who stand| والركع - and those who bow,| السجود - (and) those who prostrate.| | ||||||
| 10 [22:33] | Lakum feeha manafiAAu ilaajalin musamman thumma mahilluha ila albaytialAAateeqi | لكم فيها منافع إلى أجل مسمى ثم محلها إلى البيت العتيق لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ | |||||
| Words | |لكم - For you| فيها - therein| منافع - (are) benefits| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed;| ثم - then| محلها - their place of sacrifice| إلى - (is) at| البيت - the House| العتيق - the Ancient.| | ||||||
| 11 [33:33] | Waqarna fee buyootikunna walatabarrajna tabarruja aljahiliyyati al-oola waaqimnaalssalata waateena alzzakatawaatiAAna Allaha warasoolahu innama yureeduAllahu liyuthhiba AAankumu alrrijsa ahlaalbayti wayutahhirakum tatheeran | وقرن في بيوتكن ولا تبرجن تبرج الجاهلية الأولى وأقمن الصلاة وآتين الزكاة وأطعن الله ورسوله إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقرن - And stay| في - in| بيوتكن - your houses| ولا - and (do) not| تبرجن - display yourselves| تبرج - (as was the) display| الجاهلية - (of the times of) ignorance| الأولى - the former.| وأقمن - And establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتين - and give| الزكاة - zakah| وأطعن - and obey| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger.| إنما - Only| يريد - Allah wishes| الله - Allah wishes| ليذهب - to remove| عنكم - from you| الرجس - the impurity,| أهل - (O) People| البيت - (of) the House!| ويطهركم - And to purify you| تطهيرا - (with thorough) purification.| | ||||||
