| 1 [9:90] | Wajaa almuAAaththiroona minaal-aAArabi liyu/thana lahum waqaAAada allatheenakathaboo Allaha warasoolahu sayuseebu allatheenakafaroo minhum AAathabun aleemun |  وجاء المعذرون من الأعراب ليؤذن لهم وقعد الذين كذبوا الله ورسوله سيصيب الذين كفروا منهم عذاب أليموَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وجاء - And came| المعذرون - the ones who make excuses| من - of| الأعراب - the bedouins,| ليؤذن - that permission be granted| لهم - to them,| وقعد - and sat,| الذين - those who| كذبوا - lied| الله - (to) Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger.| سيصيب - Will strike| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| منهم - among them| عذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:97] | Al-aAArabu ashaddu kufran wanifaqanwaajdaru alla yaAAlamoo hudooda ma anzalaAllahu AAala rasoolihi waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | الأعراب أشد كفرا ونفاقا وأجدر ألا يعلموا حدود ما أنزل الله على رسوله والله عليم حكيم الأَعْرَابُ أَشَدُّ كُفْرًا وَنِفَاقًا وَأَجْدَرُ أَلاَّ يَعْلَمُواْ حُدُودَ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |الأعراب - The bedouins| أشد - (are) stronger| كفرا - (in) disbelief| ونفاقا - and hypocrisy,| وأجدر - and more likely| ألا - that not| يعلموا - they know| حدود - (the) limits| ما - (of) what| أنزل - Allah (has) revealed| الله - Allah (has) revealed| على - to| رسوله - His Messenger.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:98] | Wamina al-aAArabi man yattakhithuma yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbasu bikumu alddawa-iraAAalayhim da-iratu alssaw-i waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | ومن الأعراب من يتخذ ما ينفق مغرما ويتربص بكم الدوائر عليهم دائرة السوء والله سميع عليم وَمِنَ الأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الأعراب - the bedouins| من - (is he) who| يتخذ - takes| ما - what| ينفق - he spends| مغرما - (as) a loss,| ويتربص - and he awaits| بكم - for you| الدوائر - the turns (of misfortune).| عليهم - Upon them| دائرة - (will be) the turn| السوء - (of) the evil.| والله - And Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearer,| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:99] | Wamina al-aAArabi man yu/minu biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wayattakhithu mayunfiqu qurubatin AAinda Allahi wasalawatialrrasooli ala innaha qurbatun lahumsayudkhiluhumu Allahu fee rahmatihi inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun | ومن الأعراب من يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ويتخذ ما ينفق قربات عند الله وصلوات الرسول ألا إنها قربة لهم سيدخلهم الله في رحمته إن الله غفور رحيم وَمِنَ الأَعْرَابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِندَ اللّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ أَلاَ إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّهُمْ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - But among| الأعراب - the bedouins| من - (is he) who,| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| ويتخذ - and takes| ما - what| ينفق - he spends| قربات - (as) means of nearness| عند - with| الله - Allah| وصلوات - and blessings| الرسول - (of) the Messenger.| ألا - Behold!| إنها - Indeed, it| قربة - (is) a means of nearness| لهم - for them.| سيدخلهم - Allah will admit them| الله - Allah will admit them| في - to| رحمته - His Mercy.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:101] | Wamimman hawlakum mina al-aAArabimunafiqoona wamin ahli almadeenati maradoo AAala alnnifaqila taAAlamuhum nahnu naAAlamuhum sanuAAaththibuhummarratayni thumma yuraddoona ila AAathabin AAatheemin | وممن حولكم من الأعراب منافقون ومن أهل المدينة مردوا على النفاق لا تعلمهم نحن نعلمهم سنعذبهم مرتين ثم يردون إلى عذاب عظيم وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مُنَافِقُونَ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَرَدُواْ عَلَى النِّفَاقِ لاَ تَعْلَمُهُمْ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وممن - And among those| حولكم - around you| من - of| الأعراب - the bedouins| منافقون - (are) hypocrites| ومن - and (also) from| أهل - people| المدينة - (of) the Madinah.| مردوا - They persist| على - in| النفاق - the hypocrisy,| لا - not| تعلمهم - you know them,| نحن - We| نعلمهم - [We] know them.| سنعذبهم - We will punish them| مرتين - twice| ثم - then| يردون - they will be returned| إلى - to| عذاب - a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 6 [9:120] | Ma kana li-ahli almadeenatiwaman hawlahum mina al-aAArabi an yatakhallafooAAan rasooli Allahi wala yarghaboo bi-anfusihimAAan nafsihi thalika bi-annahum la yuseebuhumthamaon wala nasabun walamakhmasatun fee sabeeli Allahi wala yataoonamawti-an yagheethu alkuffara walayanaloona min AAaduwwin naylan illa kutiba lahumbihi AAamalun salihun inna Allaha layudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena | ما كان لأهل المدينة ومن حولهم من الأعراب أن يتخلفوا عن رسول الله ولا يرغبوا بأنفسهم عن نفسه ذلك بأنهم لا يصيبهم ظمأ ولا نصب ولا مخمصة في سبيل الله ولا يطئون موطئا يغيظ الكفار ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح إن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُواْ عَن رَّسُولِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَرْغَبُواْ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ وَلاَ نَصَبٌ وَلاَ مَخْمَصَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَطَؤُونَ مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلاَ يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلاً إِلاَّ كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - it was| لأهل - (for) the people| المدينة - of the Madinah| ومن - and who| حولهم - were around them| من - of| الأعراب - the bedouins,| أن - that| يتخلفوا - they remain behind| عن - after| رسول - the Messenger| الله - of Allah,| ولا - and not| يرغبوا - they prefer| بأنفسهم - their lives| عن - to| نفسه - his life.| ذلك - That is| بأنهم - because [they]| لا - (does) not| يصيبهم - afflict them| ظمأ - thirst| ولا - and not| نصب - fatigue| ولا - and not| مخمصة - hunger| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and not| يطئون - they step| موطئا - any step| يغيظ - that angers| الكفار - the disbelievers| ولا - and not| ينالون - they inflict| من - on| عدو - an enemy| نيلا - an infliction| إلا - except| كتب - is recorded| لهم - for them| به - in it| عمل - (as) a deed| صالح - righteous.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يضيع - allow to be lost| أجر - the reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 7 [33:20] | Yahsaboona al-ahzabalam yathhaboo wa-in ya/ti al-ahzabu yawaddoolaw annahum badoona fee al-aAArabi yas-aloona AAananba-ikum walaw kanoo feekum ma qatalooilla qaleelan | يحسبون الأحزاب لم يذهبوا وإن يأت الأحزاب يودوا لو أنهم بادون في الأعراب يسألون عن أنبائكم ولو كانوا فيكم ما قاتلوا إلا قليلا يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا وَإِن يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَنبَائِكُمْ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُم مَّا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |يحسبون - They think| الأحزاب - the confederates| لم - (have) not| يذهبوا - withdrawn.| وإن - And if| يأت - (should) come| الأحزاب - the confederates| يودوا - they would wish| لو - if| أنهم - that they (were)| بادون - living in (the) desert| في - among| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| يسألون - asking| عن - about| أنبائكم - your news.| ولو - And if| كانوا - they were| فيكم - among you| ما - not| قاتلوا - they would fight| إلا - except| قليلا - a little.| | ||||||
| 8 [48:11] | Sayaqoolu laka almukhallafoona mina al-aAArabishaghalatna amwaluna waahloona faistaghfirlana yaqooloona bi-alsinatihim ma laysa feequloobihim qul faman yamliku lakum mina Allahi shay-an inarada bikum darran aw arada bikum nafAAanbal kana Allahu bima taAAmaloona khabeeran | سيقول لك المخلفون من الأعراب شغلتنا أموالنا وأهلونا فاستغفر لنا يقولون بألسنتهم ما ليس في قلوبهم قل فمن يملك لكم من الله شيئا إن أراد بكم ضرا أو أراد بكم نفعا بل كان الله بما تعملون خبيرا سَيَقُولُ لَكَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَا أَمْوَالُنَا وَأَهْلُونَا فَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا يَقُولُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ لَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًا بَلْ كَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقول - Will say| لك - to you| المخلفون - those who remained behind| من - of| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| شغلتنا - "Kept us busy| أموالنا - our properties| وأهلونا - and our families,| فاستغفر - so ask forgiveness| لنا - for us."| يقولون - They say| بألسنتهم - with their tongues| ما - what| ليس - is not| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| قل - Say,| فمن - "Then who| يملك - has power| لكم - for you| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - (in) anything,| إن - if| أراد - He intends| بكم - for you| ضرا - harm| أو - or| أراد - He intends| بكم - for you| نفعا - a benefit?| بل - Nay,| كان - is| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 9 [48:16] | Qul lilmukhallafeena mina al-aAArabisatudAAawna ila qawmin olee ba/sin shadeedin tuqatiloonahumaw yuslimoona fa-in tuteeAAoo yu/tikumu Allahuajran hasanan wa-in tatawallaw kama tawallaytum minqablu yuAAaththibkum AAathaban aleeman | قل للمخلفين من الأعراب ستدعون إلى قوم أولي بأس شديد تقاتلونهم أو يسلمون فإن تطيعوا يؤتكم الله أجرا حسنا وإن تتولوا كما توليتم من قبل يعذبكم عذابا أليما قُل لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ فَإِن تُطِيعُوا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||

| 10 [49:14] | Qalati al-aAArabu amannaqul lam tu/minoo walakin qooloo aslamna walammayadkhuli al-eemanu fee quloobikum wa-in tuteeAAooAllaha warasoolahu la yalitkum min aAAmalikumshay-an inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | قالت الأعراب آمنا قل لم تؤمنوا ولكن قولوا أسلمنا ولما يدخل الإيمان في قلوبكم وإن تطيعوا الله ورسوله لا يلتكم من أعمالكم شيئا إن الله غفور رحيم قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَكِن قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيْمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
